Don't really understand why Hunters get to mog to different weapon types

It might have something to do with certain weapons being restricted to certain classes. If they let you transmorg a dagger into an axe, then you would have mages running around with an axe... or a mace into an axe for priests..
Everyone that can use a bow can also use a gun and vice versa. Also, honestly, I think there are probably enough devs that play hunters to realize that gun sounds get very annoying.
Well it's simple enough to have it check against proficiencies.
Don't you have to be able to use the weapon to transmogrify it anyways?
Yes, you have to be able to equip it.
Very good point Interest, I am back to finding the restriction lame.
=) I don't really know to say about it myself, despite my arguments against their current restrictions.

After a year and half of constant booms on headphones, my hearing started to suffer :(
(from Curse).
I used this addon for all my guns on my Hunter.
I thought that wasn't allowed? o.0

It isn't that big of a deal, but really it doesn't matter on weapons of any type since you do have to be able to equip it...who cares if that dk's sword looks like a mace or axe? I think they just instituted it to keep people from making their clothing look like the correct armor type. Now why they didn't just restrict themself to that rule and leave weapons out of it I don't know.
