This is your passion, dude. What are you doing not working in Blizzard?
I have to wonder the same honestly.
probably because it's not good enough.
hard work, definitely. but not good. Would never happen. Just like his Lich King fight

I don't think it's a matter of good or not good, it's just the fight wouldn't be implemented for reasons like the following:
It has a lot going on. This can result in crashing of the client, the server, or both. On top of that, programming so many abilities, spawn sequences, and the like as well as configuring and creating the AI and NPCs for both fights would be, quite plainly, a lot of work.
I don't work for Blizzard.
This is clearly "false" work by World of Warcraft (encounter) standards. It was never made in mind of implementation, no matter how canonical the fight is, or how well theorycrafted the numbers are.
Because of certain terms of use I agreed to with Wowhead, I'm actually unsure if I could send this fight to Blizzard anyways.
I won't deny some of the stuff I put in is a little over the top.
On that note: I haven't balanced the numbers AT ALL yet. I mostly created a rough set of values based on some calculation work using sites like Wowprogress or Wowhead, as well as interviewing numerous players (including my friends and Wowhead members). That comes after I finish all the bare bones work and probably the RP part.
Edit: In response to your post, why do you believe the fight is not good?

Making a second post as a bit of a "comparison log" to see how much my fight is similar to Blizzard's proposed Deathwing fight.
When Deathwing first channeled the Dragon Soul's power against the other dragonflights, the massive energies that he unleashed threatened to break him apart. Rather than forgo this weapon, he had adamantium plates fused to his scales to hold his body together. Later reinforced with elementium, these plates are now his weakness -- the sole vulnerability to Deathwing's lethal presence.
Your assault on the massive Deathwing will begin a battle unlike any other.
Can't say my start is particularly original, so I guess I'm partially wrong. However, the transition to Phase 4 could count.
It is a fight so wide-ranging and intense
Yes, so is mine =).
that it comprises two unique encounters
At the moment, my encounter is a single encounter, but this is unlikely to last. I'm already thinking about splitting the fight into a few pieces.
taking place across Azeroth.
It may not cover Northrend as much as Blizzard's but it will definitely involve some insane traveling.
Taking to the skies, players will parachute from soaring gunships to attack the monster mid-flight
Nope. My way to get onto Deathwing's back is a bit different.
and attempt to weaken him by ripping away his armor, exposing the molten flesh beneath.
Yes, I definitely had plans for this from the beginning.
Should they succeed, they will plunge into the depths of Maelstrom for the final encounter.
For my version of the fight this will be Heroic-exclusive, and involves Deepholm.
BASED ON THE ENCOUNTER JOURNAL:
Tentacles
Only in the Heroic version of the fight.
Aspects are in the fight
Yes. They actually fight instead of channeling stuff too!
Thrall is in the fight
If he wasn't, would it really be epic? Mine has it too!
Deathwing's immune system fights back
Heroic version will probably have Blood of Deathwing (or some version of it) but nothing else.

You're mad.
And this is awesome - especially the last phase sounds incredibly cool. To be honest, this looks (aside from being far more complex, probably) quite a bit better than the fight Blizzard has in store for us, which is looking to be epic all on its own.
Well done

Yes. I am mad. =)
Btw, have you seen the pathetic attempts at Deathwing Fights the WoW Official forum-goers have tried?

Hey Interest, all your part four links are broken.

Hey Interest, all your part four links are broken.
They're supposed to be. I haven't put anything of part four in. I just put the anchors in in advance.

I have; most of them were utter and total failures. >.>

On part six:
So essentially, you have to kill the large adds to drop his Earth Warding to interrupt Twilight Devastation while you kill the adds, yes?

Actually, the design is a bit more complicated than that. As you may have noticed, only casters (not Hunters) are really capable of killing them off. The Tremor Aura and Spikestone effects make it virtually impossible otherwise. The melee and Hunters need to attack Deathwing directly to deplete the shield charges.

So you need the shield to drop to interrupt the Twilight Devastation, while melee/hunters remove the shield as fast as possible and casters kill the adds...
Hmm, seems like it would be nice to have a rogue or two for this...

You mean Twilight Blast. If he manages to hard cast that you might as well call it a wipe =P

I laughed at "URSCRWED", I gotta admit. Can they do that? Can Deathwing deal one googol worth of damage?

I'm glad you caught that =).
It's supposed to essentially be a "you $%^&ed up, now you automatically lose" ability. It's actually similar to what happens if you let Tirion die on my Lich King encounter.
As for the googol part, I just wrote in a very large number.

My-my, isn't this a gem. So much hard work!
I can hardly imagine this fight going on, but it looks more epic than Epicus Maximus!
And I spent like ten minutes rolling on the floor at the sight of the URSCRWD prefix. :)

Final phase has been added. I'll add dialogue on my own time. I should've finished this a week ago, but Skyward Sword took over my life...so sorry =(.
I'm almost 99% sure there are inconsistencies in the encounter (except theorycrafting-related ones like "too high of a dps requirement for phase X" << I will fix this after further study but I have too much academic work at the moment!) so please point them out. (Point out the theorycrafting ones too I guess).
