With 4.3 coming you will have a much higher chance to into those raids anyway, seeing as people want tier 6 gear and stuff for their transmog sets.

This completely. I'm already running Serpentshrine Cavern and Tempest Keep for my T5 on both my priest and my druid. We 3-manned SSC last night, though I'm not too confident we can finish TK with the three of us.

Isn't the same.
You would have different talents, abilities, stats, ect. than back when they were end-game.

meh...
Anyone else miss the old vanilla? The revamped quests seem to get really stale really fast...
And it keeps feeling strange how we are now rocketed to 60, and then it grinds to a halt with Outland and Northrened, before rocketing through the last five levels...

I don't really miss old vanilla much.
I am, however, a bit concerned that the leveling is a bit fast. It's quite enjoyable.

Nope, Vanilla was god awful.
But leveling through the quests was fun.
Some of the more fun zones like Barrens are changed forever.
And I still stick by my belief that our characters seem too important while questing. It kills the immersion when Sylvannas is praising you for your role in the gilnean war...

But leveling through the quests was fun.Not in Vanilla, where you were sent running across the world every 10 minutes or so.

I enjoyed it. Makes me miss the old Shaman quests.
It actually felt like, with each one, I was embarking on some sort of epic and perilous journey.

You
don't
want your character to seem important, and feeling like a central character in the plot
hurts
your sense of immersion? WTF?
Exactly.
I'm not some epic hero.
I am joe shmoe adventurer.

I hated it..but I had to complete the damn Azeroth loremaster achieves on my toon. But it was still utter crap.

I don't know, all of it just dragged me into the world of the game. I felt like I was actually there; running through the barrens and wandering through the forests of Ashenvale.
Now I'm thrown on a kodo and rushed through the zone at a mile a minute with every major lore character and their brother licking my boot... Makes me feel more detached.

The quests in Vanilla were too spread out, had very little to do with one another, and had way to much %^&*ing running around; worse was still going from the Crater to Winterspring, then across to Eastern Kingdoms, then right back to Kalimdor.

Hm, yeah, you play the role of one.
It's a party of 25 heros that take down the Lich King. Not 25 Orgrimmar Grunts.
