In other words: The human body requires masturbation in order to maintain a healthy body.
It is still disgusting and gross and vomit-inducing to even think about non-the-less.
Atik, the real problem most of us have with your arguments is the fact that you're basing them on a really really simplistic view of biology and human psychology that hasn't really elaborated beyond the most basic facts. Your insistence that the world be separated into "natural" and "unnatural" acts shows this. Most of the acts you classify as "unnatural" can actually be shown to be natural with some basic observation and you definition of what is "natural" is completely arbitrary.
All I'm trying to say is that we seperated ourselves from the natural world at one point in our history. And that was a mistake.
We have grown comfy in our unnatural world. We have unnatural concepts like marriage shoved down our throat and told that to simply be the animals we are is wrong.
So what happens in countries like Africa where humans are suddenly forced from their comfy, unnatural world?
They die because they have forgotten how to be natural.

And
you
talk about masturbation being sick?

I don't understand what is sick about letting the weak die.
It is natural selection at its finest.

I think I know why you're a virgin... No offense, but with those views of the world...

Humans, when thrown back into the natural world, have completely suppressed their baseline instincts. This prevents them from surviving.

Natural and Unnatural; define them.
I've done that a lot already.
Natural: Easily observable things easily found in the world of animals. A direct result of instinct and natural selection.
Unnatural: Phenomina not observable in the world of animals. Brought about only after humans insisted on seperating themselves.

Natural: Easily observable things easily found in the world of animals. A direct result of instinct and natural selection.
Because animals
totally
use the internet and have computers.
Humans, when thrown back into the natural world, have completely suppressed their baseline instincts. This prevents them from surviving.
Um, no. Baseline instincts are still engrained in human biology. Reflex actions which we cannot really control, for instance.
Edit:
Natural and Unnatural; define them.
I've done that a lot already.
Natural:
Easily observable things easily found in the world of animals
. A direct result of instinct and natural selection.
Unnatural: Phenomina not observable in the world of animals. Brought about only after humans insisted on seperating themselves.
And that's the crux of where your entire argument is wrong.
You assume that just because you can't easily see something that it doesn't exist.
You can't easily see a ghost. Therefore, they don't exist. Boom.

Atik
No, you can easily observe ghostly phenomina.
Hell. If I had to see it to believe it, there are a LOT of things I wouldn't believe in.

No, you can easily observe ghostly phenomina. If that was the case, I think ghosts would have been confirmed by scientists by now. You can easily observe the phenomena of ghosts if you believe it (or want to believe it), rather than because it actually
is
caused by a ghost. Similar to things like horoscopes or clairvoyants.

But rape is natural, as in many animal species the females don't have a choice, so it's obviously less disgusting than masturbation - even though some animals also masturbate. Duh
Most animals have some form of a 'courtship ritual.' The females have plenty of a choice.Roughly a third of duck clutches are born to forced joinings, iirc.
Atik sounds like such a #$%^ing nut job. A computer is not natural in your terms, so maybe you should stop using one.
Technology and long distance communications are perfectly natural.Noooo... They really aren't. The state of the art high speed prototype tech of the animal world is the stick, for pulling termites out of a log. Or a rock, for banging against shells.
I ain't
neva
seen no monkey typin on no computer machine.
I'm actually not even phased by that photo, but I was fighting the urge to admit it.
The strong survive, the weak die.
The human race seems to have forgotten this.Have you no compassion? Thanks to unnatural human medicine and inventions like agriculture and mass transportation, people don't have to die, at least not as much.
You know what's more disgusting than masturbation? For you to say "They were weak" in regards to Africans that are starving to death, while you sit on your ass and preach over your computer.
I can appreciate how well off I am, but I also have compassion for human life. I admit I could do more to help, donate to a charity, but I can at least appreciate how awful conditions are in other parts of the world. And instead of chalking it up to fate and humans not being natural, I chalk it up to Western exploitation of Africa and never bothering to fix what they started. I don't have a solution, but I do believe in trying to fix it, instead of just sitting on my butt and writing it off as inevitable.
Here's your problem. You cling to an idealized preconception of "nature" where everything is good, but you either ignore or accept everything that's terrible and cruel about it.
Starvation is natural. Rape is natural. Ebola, Smallpox, Polio, Malaria, and Cholera are natural. Infant mortality is natural. Living to the ripe old age of 30 natural. Warfare is natural.
Nature is beautiful, and nature is cruel. The challenge the human race has to face is preserving the former while overcoming the latter.

Noooo... They really aren't. The state of the art high speed prototype tech of the animal world is the stick, for pulling termites out of a log. Or a rock, for banging against shells.
Yelling accross treetops to communicate.
Building staircases and ladders to reach food in trees.
Sending sonar messages through the water.
Have you no compassion? Thanks to unnatural human medicine and inventions like agriculture and mass transportation, people don't have to die, at least not as much.
Which leads to overpopulation and destruction.
And I really don't. I watched news reports on Haiti and Japan and felt nothing. I just really don't care.
You know what's more disgusting than masturbation? For you to say "They were weak" in regards to Africans that are starving to death, while you sit on your ass and preach over your computer.
I use my computer as a medium of communication. No different than the politicians you vote for come election day.

I will admit, the exploiting of other countries was disgusting and unnatural. But they were the ones who couldn't stop it or deal with the aftermath. Both sides were weak, but all conflicts have a winner.
And death IS inevitable. The day we stop dying is a disgusting day indeed.
Here's your problem. You cling to an idealized preconception of "nature" where everything is good, but you either ignore or accept everything that's terrible and cruel about it.
Just like the animal I am.
Starvation is natural. Rape is natural. Ebola, Smallpox, Polio, Malaria, and Cholera are natural. Infant mortality is natural. Living to the ripe old age of 30 natural. Warfare is natural.
Welfare isn't natural. No animal species work hard only to hand over their gains to ones to lazy to work.
And through natural selection, we can overcome all those illnesses. Survivors will live to reproduce.
Nature is beautiful, and nature is cruel. The challenge the human race has to face is preserving the former while overcoming the latter.
But we don't overcome it. We run away from it, and that makes us weak.
