Tables inside tabs sounds promising. I'm looking forward to seeing your guide!

you are disturbed by the user of a Russian-speaking section of the wowhead. I wrote the
guide
and it’s been waiting for approval almost a week already. In this case I’ve a question, is it real (possible) to add Russian guides to your site now or you won’t plan to do it? The matter is that I’ve more good ideas for guides and I’m not sure that you need them and I spend my time useful.

I started writing a new guide, saved it and it's not in the list of my guides. Help?

@Cordana,
are you able to go directly to it if I give you the link
?
@stimpunk, My understanding is that the guides system
currently
doesn't support non-English content but there is the potential for this to change in the future as the feature evolves. I'm sorry we didn't comment on your guide specifically.(##RESPBREAK##)8##DELIM##asakawa##DELIM##

yes asakawa... can you please remove the link as it's definitely not ready to be published. Don't know why it's not listed in "my guides". Bookmarked for now. Thanks!
Post by
asakawa
I'll remove it though nobody else will be able to view it so don't worry.

Why is it that when I do \
Fade
it gets displayed like {Spell=586} instead of with the proper name/icon or am I missing something on how the spell tags work?
Edit: Nevermind, it must have been my browser being stupid. They're working now.

Links like that don't show in preview but are always completed properly when you submit. The same is true on the forum and comments.

Oh ok! I got it now. Thanks.

Wow, the weighted ratings seems like a brilliant idea. Is the displayed rating the actual rating or the weighted rating?
I also love how you're planning to integrate it into forums and stuff.

One thing that would be quite useful, especially with copying guides written elsewhere, would be to be able to parse common things like enchants, glyphs, and spells into wowhead link code, so that you can get away with typing "Lightning Bolt" and it gets converted into
when you save the page.

Has Wowhead staff considered some sort of compensation above and beyond the reputation gains for exceptionally high-traffic guides, ala Youtube's revenue sharing?
Currently there are no plans for this but you never know.

And, just wanted to let you know that I restored the "Views" column on the listing on
http://www.wowhead.com/guides
.. With a few improvements, including quality coloring.
What do you think?
Maybe using item quality colors is confusing and a single color is better (for example, white = normal, and the more views the guide has the more red the color becomes, until it becomes fully red).(##RESPBREAK##)2##DELIM##Koper##DELIM##

Single colour sounds better. It looks a bit like a rainbow right now. Not sure red is the right colour though.

Currently, guides are invisible when they're in queue. I just
wrote one
that gives waypoints for every Candy Bucket in the game, and it would be really useful if I could start linking in to friends, since it's formatted in a way that makes it easier to use than a straight-up wall-of-text list. (The entry has two tabs, for Alliance and Horde, and each tab has a toggle for each major section, such as Kalimdor or Outland.)
I would suggest this: as soon as a guide is submitted, it goes live and is visible under the member's list of guides. However, until the guide is accepted, it isn't listed in the directory. Alternatively, there could be separate pages for each type of guide: one of approved/endorsed guides, and one for guides that were rejected (but not bad enough to outright delete) or are awaiting approval.
The information in my guide is obviously pretty time-sensitive, so it would be nice to be able to pass it around ASAP.

You may want to split the Classes section into individual classes rather than one whole bucket as the guide naming is very inconsistent, meaning that the first hunter guide is 14th in the list (alphabeticaly) and the last is 49th in a list of 50.
