My favorite memory from WoW had to be my first raid. I was kind of the underling in a new guild made by some friends, and not being well geared, didn't do much that many other players did like heroics and raids. I got a whisper from the owner of the guild asking me if I would like to go get my "the Kingslayer" title. I immediately thought it was a prank, but it was real, and I was the off-tank on the Lich King. They explained the fight to me in a lot of detail, making sure I got every bit of it. Needless to say, we nearly wiped, but we got him down to the necessary 10%. At first I didn't know why people were hollering and screaming for joy in ventrilo, but then I saw the 'oh-so-famous-cinematic' for the first time, not in Dalaran. We jumped for joy once he died, and I got my Glorenzelg, High Blade of the Elves. To this day, I owe my friends for getting me into raiding like that and that was definitely a day to remember in WoW, and was my favorite ever, and shall always remain as one of my memories. P.S.: I still run around in Cataclysm with my kingslayer title and my WoTLK gear on.

My favorite memory would have to be when me and a group of friends first downed Loken in heroic when wotlk launched. It wasn't the hardest of fights or the most prestigious but it was our top priority at the time while we were getting all the gear we needed to start Naxx. We start the fight and health pools are spiking up and down when he casts lightning nova. We get him down to 2% or so when everyone eventually dies except our Death knight tank. The tank uses cool downs and gets Loken down to within 1% or less when the tank dies. Upon our tanks untimely death he suddenly resurrects into a ghoul and casts corpse explosion, killing Loken and himself as well. We loot him and i get my 2h axe that gets me closer to being raid ready.
Doing the quest where you become a quest giver, and realizing the first guys name is Dumass.
My favourite wow memory was killing the hogger with my freinds on my first ever character, on like the fifth attempt when i was a complete noob and feeling so awesome about it! haha :D good times, and also running the whole way from teldrassil to goldshire on my first character to do human quests, took like 2 hours, and i did it about 4 times cause i had to go back for mounts and stuff, then i realised you could get a boat the whole way basically :L
Mine would have to be Gruul's Lair. The amount of time we spent on the High King was mind boggling. There was always that one little thing we didnt do (stoopid mage tanks) or something that was just a little to late that lead to countless wipes. The joy over vent when we finally pulled it together was a great feeling. Getting my helm was such a relief. Unfortunatley for us, just down the corridor a little was Gruul the Raidwiper :)
My most memorable moment in WoW is the first time we downed 10 Man Anub'arak in ToC on heroic with 50 attempts remaining for the first time. It was one of the most stressful fights we had ever done, and I loved every minute of it.
My best memory of Wow is when cata just released that me and my guild (esoteric) on balnazzar killed magmaw on 25 normal with absolutly no gear it was the 3rd of cata so no1 has an epic yet. This was also from a healer point of view. The 1st time we pulled it it looked like it was impossible on the healing the tank dropping like crazy and every 30 sec the raid and this for a whole 10 minutes! this is by far my greatest kill / memory from wow. This is not my point of view i was a resto druid named : Therer.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tHxvIBwnoJ0Enjoy!
My favorite moment from WoW would be, from the very first week. I ABSOLUTELY randomly started chatting up with some gnome /I really noticed him only coz he was gnome with weird hair/. He became my best friend, and I'm still playing with him ever since!
My favorite moment of WoW has to be when I finally became a mage. Not when I started a toon. I started SEVERAL toons, but when I connected with my mage toon, it was on!
Running Srat UD or Scholo, first things I ever tanked back in original wow. I had a small group of friends and we would run those places all the time, I had a good friend that worked all day then drank like a fish at night, if we didn't hurry through he would pass out before the run. Any time we saw him running toward a group of mobs we would run the other way, knowing he had passed out and started auto-running (lol.) We had very little CC for the place too, so we used to use all kinds of strategies to handle the mobs, I had to learn how to pull mobs into frost traps, the pally had turn UD, that only backfired about a million times. It was fun times though, I had something to do with my brother that was too far away to visit frequently, if not for wow, we wouldn't have kept up with each other half as much as we did, and now 6 years later I still have those original friends very close to me.
What is your favorite memory from World of Warcraft and why?My favorite memory from World of Warcraft would have to be getting my epic mount back in pre-bc, that was amazing. I saved up for quite some time to be able to afford that thing, and man, when I got it...words can't describe :)
My favorite WoW moment was, is, and always will be my first time in a world PvP skirmish. All those years ago in vanilla WoW my first character was a Human Pally. I had gone from level 1 to 60 without ever engaging in PvP because, to be honest, I was afraid of getting killed by another player. One fateful day outside of Booty Bay that all changed.I had just flown into the zone via the gryphon (no flying mounts back then of course) with the intent of checking the master BS goblin there to see if there were any patterns I was missing. I just pulled into his shop when a call for help went out on the local general chat. A tauren warrior was attacking lowbies outside the BB entrance far enough from the guards so they wouldn't aggro. (This was on Dragonblight, PvE server) I decided to venture out and see what was happening. I arrived just in time to see him finish off a NE hunter. The outrage of seeing someone killing a lower level player just hit me and I charged him full force. An epic (to me, anyways) battle ensued. Back and forth we fought until I emerged, barely, as the victor. As my heart was pounding, I basked in the thrill of victory for all of 10 seconds or so just to hear the sound of a stance change and seeing an undead warrior slay my badly wounded pally. (The thought never crossed my mind to heal)To this very day, thinking about that brings goosebumps and an experience that has yet to be equalled in the World of Warcraft.
Favorite moment:Stepping into Karazan for the very first time. It was my first raid on my first toon. That's when I had the "lightbulb moment" and finally got why people enjoyed WoW. After slogging through 70 levels (at the time) to level cap, fumbling my way through dungeons and heroics on my hunter learning how to kite, trap, and hit all both of my BM rotation buttons, being accepted into a decent raiding guild and having nine other people take a night to step back specifically to welcome me and include (and gear) me knowing how inexperienced I was was...Yeah, I was honestly touched.Best moment for me by a mile.
