The best memory I have of playing WoW is when my charecter was level 70 and i would just run magisters terrace over and over again to gain reputation. One day while i was doing my reputation grind, i did the heroic version for maybe my 5th time ever. i saw the white hawkstride mount drop and i won with a roll of 10 was pretty amazing experience because i usually roll really low when i see these sort of things drop so having the highest roll and it still being low was a pretty satisfying and slightly humorous.
My favourite memory of wow is meeting this girl, she was one of the best things that ever happened to my life and she really sent me in the right direction... She changed my life completely, and found a strong love cross-country from England to Denmark which lasted 6 months, but eventually the distance took its toll and we struggled to maintain the relationship. But if it wasn't for WoW and my active love for Roleplaying, I would never have met such an amazing, significant feature to my life.
I'll never forget the giveaway I hosted on Garithos.I've had a main on Frostwolf for quite some time now... however in an attempt to bond with my cousins I started a hunter on that realm. Well I never ended up playing with my cousins but I did end up making a killing on the auction house by selling low level goods. (The realm population was very low.)Eventually, I decided it was time to devote my time to a specific server. I chose to remain on Frostwolf... but as for the hunter I needed to do something with my stuff.Rather than horde it all away after leaving the server, I bought vanity pets, hid around Stormwind and offered 100g and presents to anyone who could find and /poke me.I ended up giving away a little more than 4,000g that night, plus multiple vanity pets and rare BOEs.Sure I've killed epic stuff in WoW, done a ton of the end-game PVE quests and raided several heroics but... the time I spent redistributing wealth on Garithos really stands out in my mind.
My favorite memory was probably the first time I fell off of the bridge in Eye of the Storm. I thought I would hit ground or something and die but instead I died in midair and my body soon disappeared out of sight.
My favorite moment in WoW came several years ago at the Dark Portal. My girlfriend and I started our first characters together. I was a Night Elf druid, and she was a Night Elf hunter. We leveled our way through together. When we were level 35, the Burning Crusade expansion came out. We couldn't access Outland at that time, but it didn't bother us. We had tons of fun in zones like Stranglethorn Vale, Tanaris, and the Plaguelands. At level 58, we made our way to the Blasted Lands to the Dark Portal. We held hands as we plunged into the new world! I'll be giving her a diamond ring in a few weeks, both in game and in real life!

I'm pretty sure, my favourite moment to date, is when I got quadruple achievements about a week ago and filled up the guild chat with my achievements.Glorious day.
I must say one of my fondest memories, was when I first started playing. I was in awe of everything and how pretty things looked. I remember runnning to goldshire and seeing all these level 70's and they were on tiger mounts. I wanted to know so bad where to get one. I finally was able to get a reply from one of the guys and he told me he would only tell me where and how to get a mount if i stripped for him. I just laughed and said no way. He eventaully whispered me and said he was sorry and told me how to get a mount. I was so shocked because I had to be level 40. I knew right then that I was going to be addicted to this game and the players. The guy that whispered me knew I was new to game and gave me a couple bags and 100g to start out with. I don't remember who he is because he quit playing a few weeks after I started but I know I will always be grateful for the kindness that he gave me in game. Oh and later I found out he was riding the Zul Grub tiger, which I have since attained on my main and you can no longer get. /happy!
Having only gotten into this game during Wrath, I am "new" to raiding. By the end of ICC I thought I was getting good but Vanila players are always quick to point out that Wrath was a joke compared to the olden days. Cata has been much more engaging and just last night I got a server first kill on one of the new bosses. That kill alone will always sit with me as a great moment of my WoW career. Real raiding is here and I am ready.
Wow, so many memories... hard to choose. I'll go with the first time I ran Karazhan (also, my first time raiding) back in BC.I never thought I would raid, due to it requiring long hours, commitment, and being pretty darn hard. But I always loved the idea. Karazhan looked like an amazing place. I watched sooo many videos, thought about it all the time, and I think I even had a dream or two!One day, the small social guild I was with managed to find enough people to give Kara a try, and I was invited! The time was set, so I did a lot of preparation. Re-reading the fights, watching (more) videos and making sure my spec and gear were up to scratch. Beast Mastery Hunter ftw!The time finally came, at around 1am ( I was in the UK on holiday at the time, so I had to be up that early) and we headed over to Kara. Sadly, we didn't have a full raid at first, but we found a few pugs and friends to fill the slots and we started clearing the trash. Man, those Skelly Horses were scary! The thought that one of those things could one shot was pretty intimidating. I was shaking the whole time, party due to being worried that I would screw up. But I did my job well, did some pretty good dps, and impressed everyone with my leet trapping skills (thanks BRK!).We eventually got to Midnight, but I think we had a couple of people leave. But then.... suddenly, someone (another hunter) accidently pulled the boss! We only had one tank! But we managed to pull through, with some amazing tanking, healing and dps from the raid and we defeated him. Great feeling, and very very fun. I was hooked on raiding! We filled the group (got an experienced and geared Bare tank) and ended up going all the way to the Curator. Fantastic night. Ended at around 5 in the morning, and I went to bed, feeling very happy ( and tired). Even though Kara became very easy and grindy as the patches went on, I'll never forget the epic experience I had that day.
I believe it's not only me who has sentimental memories form the classic WOW, when we had or 60 level... All annoying things like waiting for 40man raid or standing in 1-hour queue for battleground is yet another reason that makes you remember that times so well. I need to say that at that time game wasn't easy, everything was so new and you had to learn just everything. A huge challenge. Whole mechanic was to discover, strategies to learn and all of that make it just an epic memory./bow to all "old-school" WoW players.Cheers,
