my favorite memory from wow is when I met my first long time WoW friend. We grouped up do do some quests in Zorma strand (ashenvale) and then proceeded to do more quests in other areas. We continuted to quest day after day until we hit level 70! good times...
I think my favorite memory of wow was when I logged onto my first abandoned "main" after playing the game for some time, and seeing extremely poorly selected gear on that toon and realizing how far I had come in understanding the game since I started. It felt great!
My favourite moment would probably be when I Dinged 85 when only doing mining and archaeology, I laughed so hard!
My favorite memory, well is all the ones I've made from my first day logging into WoW to all the friends and family I've made over the years and the fun memories I got to make with all of them were the best even through the bad they were meaningful to me from Vanilla, burning crusade, Lich King and now Cataclysm I'll hold those memories.
My favorite moment was during a Karazhan run. I was on my holy Priest and we were doing Nightbane.During the first air phase our other healer, a restoration Druid died the Smoking Blast and a bunch of Restless Skeleton pummeling him to submission. ;-)So there we were with just me as the sole remaining healer and three quarters of the fight still before us. But somehow it just clicked there and I was able to keep everyone alive. Well, mostly. Some Hunter decided to put up camp on top a Charred Earth zone in the last phase. ^^
The thing I remember the best is:The day I got WotLK I was tempted to get my 53 druid 55 so I could make an OP DK. So I started lvling - without looms nor buff, no dungeon finder either - at the morning and I eventually dinged 55 at midday, then I made my well-earned DK and freaked on him till my parents came home!.I got punished that day for playing too long but it was, without any doubts, my best WoW memory.Cheers,~ExQ
My best memory of Wow so far is an arena match in Wotlk that had a funny twist in it. Me (elemental shaman) and my friend (arcane mage) got into Blade's Edge Arena and noticed that we had two "Gladiators" against us at ~1,7k rating. *GG blizz* Propably just lack of people but any case, we knew that we were screwed. So we went to the other pole the arena has and started /dancing and to our surprise the other team started dancing too on the opposite pole. Atleast for a while before they graped us ;)
My first character ever was a male orc on my husband's account, and on my first week of playing I dressed him in a crafted dress and ran him around. It was simple and amusing!
Has to be hitting the level cap for the 1st time in wotlk. I was a noob for so long and then with that i felt accomplished for the 1st time in game
my favorite wow moment is when i finished all the reputations getting the achievement "Insane in the membrane" It took alot of grinding but well worth it in the end
Well, it's too difficult to pick a favourite memory after all these years spent in Azeroth (First character? First IRL friend met in-game? First boss downed?), but looks like I've got to do it. Let it be... ...First time I visited Ruins of Lordaeron and heard an echo of Arthas' return. First, I didn't believe my ears, thought It was my imagination. Then, I turned the volume to maximum and walked all this way again. There's a lot of WCIII references in WoW, but this is the best. Ever.
When a fellow hunter that had been playing on test realms told me about the new spirit beast - Ghostcrawler - I decided I really wanted to tame it as soon as the expansion came out. I was going to try to get server first lvl 85 anyway, so when the expansion came out I was sat prepared at my computer...and wasn´t able to log on for several hours due to the server being full :( When I finally managed to, the chance of server first, even within my class, was long gone. I decided not to stress, and got to 85 almost half a day after the fastest players. I moved my hunter to the Abyssal Depts, where a couple of hunters were already looking for Ghostcrawler. I logged out to get an alt started on levelling, but decided to check my hunter every 20 min or so. At the time I had no clue that it patroled the entire area, so I just logged on for about 30 sec everytime, sat in my spot, noticed there was no Ghostcrawler, and logged off. I think it was when I logged on for the 3rd or 4th time that I could see the little crab slowly walking towards me. There was no other hunter nearby and I tamed it before it even reached me. It was the first spawn on our server and taming it made up for having lost the chance to compete for server firsts. It is with me most of the time when I´m not raiding :)
