My favorite memory would have to be my first encounter with Luthilan, someone my guild despised for some reason but they always invited him back into guild because he is just so pimp. I had never raided and Luth wanted me to come to ICC 25 with him. After accepting his invite and flying out to icecrown, I was awarded with two weapons and a BoE leather chest. Was the most fun I had up to that point and set me on a path to raid for a bit. Luth is still my best friend on wow though we now just seem to piss people off together.

My Favorite memory of wow was when one day 10 of us from the Knights of Dawn and my guild leader was bored so we decided to go to to were the world dragon was and play "Slap the Dragon" meaning we hit it and scream for our lives just hoping it does not get us. We had a blast, especially with the healer of our group decides to not rez us and noticed the dragon chasing him and he was screaming "Ah get it off me...get it off get it off". We died laughing because i think it glitched because he had to hearth out to org to get away from it. It was just so funny seeing a paladin running around in circles screaming his head off bubbling off and on non stop. To add to the insane, when i was lvl 80 i confused iron forge hard with me on my warrior tauren with no armor on and just in his.....speedo's running around just to see how far i could get before something killed me. I was most lucky because I did it right after a raid went thru so i had time to get past the door and run around naked. I made it to the throne room before a night elf hunter 1 shot me. I had so much fun i do it once and a while and sometimes i have groups with me.....in their undies. :)
My favorite little triumph was hitting 60 for the first time in Silithus, before Burning Crusade. I had just killed a twilight cultist and wasn't paying attention to the sand worm behind me when I dinged and it attacked at the same time. It stole my glory. =3
One of the fondest memories I have of WoW is entering Silverpine Forest for the first time with my Forsaken Rogue (my first, and main toon).I was fascinated with the Forsaken lore (being an Undead W3 player), and while I liked Tirisfal, the entire feeling I got from Silverpine (the music, the atmosphere, the west coast, the great wall) was really amazing. I still like to visit the place now and then, and the Mage alt I'm currently leveling is, of course, a Forsaken :)
For me, my favourite memory would definitely be the first time I downed the Lich King with my first guild. Together, ten of us had been working ICC from scratch for about 3 months, progressing a little further every few weeks or so. We spent whole evenings and nights wiping time and again, altering tactics a tiny bit each time through trial and error. When we finally reached the phase when Arthas is being held aloft in the air, the cheers of triumph over vent were immensely uplifting. To celebrate we took our chars to the bar in Dalaran, where they got drunk, took their clothes off and danced on the tables. It was great to feel like you had worked within a team of friends to achieve something that difficult.
The best memory of WoW I have was the first time I saw Rag and the speech that was given before the encounter started. It was so amazing.
