Whilst desperately trying to fly from Eastern Plaguelands into the area to the north (in vain), I caught sight of the burning ruins of Stratholme from above the gates. Something about the houses stretching into the distance, some of them barely visible through red smoke, was quite spectacular. I think the memories of wiping multiple times whilst trying to complete it with a friend, and then being left to complete the second half alone when we tried again after levelling up a bit, and succeeding, contributed to the minutes I sat with the interface turned off trying to get the perfect view whilst struggling against the invisible wall.
My favorite memory playing wow in the whole time I have, I have to say that way back when during Vanallia wow when some AV matches could last like 6hours+ and you could turn in orbs or scraps or something and summon these huge elementals that you would have to fight. Those were the days....

My most favorite moment of WoW was when i finally hit level 70 with my Blood Elf hunter ( Which is now a troll) back in Burning Crusade. I was young back then, around 9, and it was a huge accomplishment for me, since I only played a little bit every day, I even have a picture of me hitting level 70 xD. Anyways, i kept PvPing trying to get to the same skill level like my two older brothers did (They both had Gladiator title o.O) and everyday I PvP all day trying to achieve my next goal. Sadly, I still have not achieved it but I still try. I know someday I'll get there!
My favorite memory was when I first realized I had something to keep me busy 168 hours a week. I believe that was on a Saturday in June 2010 about 3ish.
My best memory was in September 2006 when i were out in the nice Azeroth questing.lvling my warrior wich stil is my main char today! I really hate the quest back then. no help and nothing to show you the way or guide you. i guess we were all waiting for Wowhead. Our guide. Our light in the darkness. Atleast i were. so when i heard about wowhead i felt so glad. finaly something wich can help me and give me the info i need to lvl faster and experiance more fun of the game. So that was my best moment. the Hour i found out wowhead was about to be made. :)
HOW i MET MY ORCISH GIRLFRIENDI was a young unexperienced orc warrior who saw a little female lock who was being attacked by an ogre... As a tank, I taunted him away from her and she killed it, since my attacks were not as harmful as they were a year ago. We fell in love shortly afterwardsToday, we live under the same roof and soon she will be my fiancéeThats the best moment in Wow and my life.
Earning Universal Explorer and receiving the Tabard and letter from Brann in game. I worked so hard on that achievement; it felt like I had accomplished something in the game.
My favorite memory is and will always be when my wife first started playing. I asked her to play just for 30 minutes with me as a birthday present. Prior to this she'd had a healthy distaste for the game and the time sink it was for me. We created two night elves together. When she hit level 2, and the golden sparkles surrounded her, she lit up, and she's been playing ever since.
The day was...well, I forget. It was a classic Onyxia raid, though, (jk, not classic. D: ) during WoTLK's prime (not cata, so it was moderately difficult at the time). So anyways, me, a few other hunters from my guild, our best tanks and healers (as well as some other mentionable cloth dps) were going to tackle Onyxia10 for the first time. We wiped. Ouch, right? We walk all the way back (hur dur dur dur) only to wipe again. Gee, getting a little frustrated now. Walk back again. Hur dur dur dur DUR! We step inside. We start doing our best battlecries in Vent. It starts getting epic. Things are gonna go down now! Yeah, son! So we walked up to Onyxia. We start screaming obscenities and insults at her. "SUP NAGA!", "F***ING DIE ALREADY, BEACH!", and other insults do we scream at her in game chat. It ends up being timed just so to make it look like she's incredibly angry with us. She attacks with a vengeance. We panic. We reorganize and counter attack. 1st phase. Breezed through it. 2nd phase, getting a little tricky. 3rd phase rolls around. Offtank dies somewhat near the end. The MT does his best to pick everything else up. Bear in mind, we're all out of cooldowns to pop. He manages to get everything on him for a few short seconds, and then gets absolutely blown away by them. DPS starts dropping. A healer dies. Then the other one. We're down to just us hunters, and Onyxia still has 100k hp. There are at least 40 whelps and dragons chasing us around now. Our pets are dead. We're going crazy. One of us drops. 50k hp left. Another of us drops. 30k hp left. The 2nd to last one drops. 20k hp. It's just me. A final kill shot escapes the haunches of my bow as the mobs finally make it to me. The shot has just left it as I'm insta-killed. The kill shot was a critical, and she drops. Down. Hard. All of us have died. Onyxia is dead too. I still don't think Vent has rang as loud with triumphant satisfaction as it did that day. The loot wasn't as good as we had hoped for, but the sheer satisfaction in achieving something like that against all odds was phat enough loot for us. Wouldn't you agree? :D
One of my favorite moments had to be stepping into Molten Core for the first time with 40 other players during classic WoW wondering if it would ever start. Oh and of corse when i first discovered WoWhead :)
My favourite memory in WOW would have to be a Dungeon I did with a friend, I'd been wanting a Drake for a very long time now as they are beautiful creatures. Playing like mad to save up the Gold to getting the faster flying speeds and working my way up to lvl 85. I spoke with a friend and he mentioned there was a drake that I could go and get with him. He assisted me in "The Culling of Stratholme" where you fight the "Infinite Corruptor" in Heroics and your reward is the "Reins of the Bronze Drake", provided you get to it in the 25 minute time limit :-). I remember enjoying that achievement so much, I ended up flying for about 1 hr taking screenshots so I could have a cool background for my laptop and work machine. Finally I had a cool drake, my first. I had just joined my guild and made friends with members and I remember a member also wanting a drake. I took her to get it at the Culling and I remember how happy she was and it reminded me of my first drake. Since then I've assisted many others from my guild to get this awesome achievement and add a cool drake to their collection.
