Possibly when I first started the game. Without any knowledge of its principles, having just read the manual and equipped with my lore knowledge from WarCraft games. The feeling was absolutely overwhelming and I spent lot of time just prancing around, no epic loot or server first kills mattered back then.
My favorite memory in wow, is basically anytime my RL friends and I are together, we do so many stupid and fun things, like one time we attempted to fill org with smoke flares, then we got bored and went to farm as much heavy leather as possible and asked someone to make 100 leather balls so we could throw them at everyone... (He was very confused when he needed to make that many). But probably, if I had to choose one moment, it would be when we tried to get a screen shot on Screenshot of the day. We had the bright idea to make a heart out of all out flying mounts... Yeah I know, we're sooooo original right? Well, we went down to the crossroads in northern barrens and we started to make our plans. We gave each of the 10 people we had a deepstone oil so we could keep still and no one would move, and we slowly got into formation. a little later, we realized we totally did NOT make a heart.... it was more a lop sided circle... We tried a couple more times then gave up and went back to org. There, we got another grand idea and decided to get as many people as we could to get on the biggest mounts they could and use deepstone oil in a large pile on the ground, we had atleast 30 people all in the middle of org like a crazy moshpit of dragons XD. It sounds pretty lame the way I'm explaining it, but that HAS to be my crowning moment of World of Warcraft.
My favorite memory of Wow is a boss fight in Outland. I was out soloing, and the boss was a group quest objective. I didn't figure I'd be able to do it alone, but I figured I might find someone nearby willing to help. When I got there, the boss was already in combat... with an alliance player. Although I was playing Horde, I decided to help, and together we downed the boss. The other player /thanked me. I /smiled, then /pointed at the boss and /begged. The alliance player /nodded. We stood around a moment until the boss respawned, and I attacked... and the other player, nominally my enemy, helped. We downed the boss a second time. We both walked away with boss kill credit.

My favorite WoW memory is definitely of my first day playing. My friend and I had spent time figuring out exactly what classes/races we wanted to roll. We bought the $2 Trial Discs and we installed the game. After nearly 3 hours of patching.... we were finally able to log in, create our guys, and start playing. He made a Tauren Warrior, and I made an Undead Warlock. As true noobs, we had no idea how to get across the ocean to one another, to actually play together. I set out with my warlock towards the ocean, figuring maybe there would be a harbor or something. Instead, all I found were monsters that wanted to kill me. There was no way I could get back into my body without being killed immediately. Again, because I was true noob status, I made another warlock, and this time follow the road all the way to Undercity. The place was AMAZING to me. It was also confusing, and I got lost. I finally found a person nice enough, to walk me all the way out to the zeppelin towers and send me on my way to Orgrimmar. I then walked, on the roads, all the way to Bloodhoof Village. I'm not sure how long it takes now, but back then it was a 45 minute journey on foot. That's the first thing I ever did on WoW. No addons. No websites. It was fun, and while I'll forget what it was like to win my first arena match, or kill those hard to get to dungeon bosses, I'll never forget the first thing I ever did in WoW.
Ah, so many fond memories! XDWith the return of our old friend Ragnaros on the way, I'm gonna go with this one story that happened during Molten Core raiding days. At the time I was playing my main character, a resto druid. We had just cleared some trash and were taking a mini break before we moved on to the next boss/section. When for some reason the raid leader says "Lets practice lava hopping!"...and jumps off into the lava, amazingly the rest of the raid went right after him! it was like lemmings! The issue with this was, no one checked before they jumped in, if there was an area that they could get out at... it was extra crispy raid at that point! boy was I glad i was laughing too hard to follow them in. After being able to breath and clear the tears from my eyes, I went over and got someone rezzed Lol
My favorite WoW memory was when I complete my timed ZA run and finally won the roll against 5 other people to win the Amani War Bear. I was so excited because It was my first raid that I was in charge of and I finally felt like I was becoming a real leader in the guild.
Taking down the Lich King. We worked for over a month on him, getting every phase down pat, dealing with Raider's real life issues and then on June 3 last year he finally bit it. I have pictures of it still. Makes mer smile every time.
My favorite memory was when I organized my first 40-man raid on all the Alliance city leaders all by myself and somehow managed to keep everyone together and organized and earn my very own Battle Bear. :D
One of my favorite memories was overhealing 5 of the summoning rooms at once in Upper Blackrock spire :)) talk about adrenaline rush i was afraid i would have run out of mana with the 30 or so adds attacking my friend who was tanking
My favorite memory from World of Warcraft was in Scourge Invasion. I remember that we made raids to attack and infect cities and transport points like Darkshore, Booty Bay etc. It was awesome regardless of some players that dispelled the infections and ruined the fun...I really dought that there will be an event so epic as this.
My favorite World of Warcraft memory? Anything in regards to doing BC at level 85... So many choices... Most likely finally getting both my Nether Ray mount and my artisan flying on the same day. I'd been holding out on buying Wrath so I could do more quests and get gold for them, that way I could get artisan flying while rep grinding. Selling mechanical yetis, doing any dailies I could find, doing SW quests for a little cost reduction... All of that. So once I turned in my last Skyguard quest, and the achievement popped up, telling me I'd gotten exalted. I went to the shop and bought a mount, and wouldn't you know it, I had enough left over for my riding skill. I genuinely laughed at the conincidence, and went to purchase my epic flying. Eventually I got my nether drake and bougth Wrath, but I still mostly use my Nether Ray. Probably the best part of the day was my guildmates congratulating me on my tenacity, though.
My favorite moment in WoW was the day I first started.I came right from Warcraft 3 to World of Warcraft, and started out as a Human Paladin. As soon as I logged in, I shouted for my mom to come watch me play. I killed the wolves in the starting zone, and was simply amazed by the graphics and style of gaming. I had never seen anything like it.My mom was also amazed by the graphics, but weren't into all the killing and stuff. On the first day I was very confused about the quest system, so I basicly just ganked stuff, which I also found pretty entertaining back then.My paladin got to level 8, after 1 whole week of playing, and then I got told by many people that hunters were way better. So I started a hunter instead.- Still got the hunter of this day.
My greatest memory on W.o.W was this weekend when my guild ran icc 25 man. i was only level 80 but the chance to kill the Lich King was an amazing feeling and on top of that i got to run it with it with the people that helped me from the start. XD I Love W.o.W!
My favourite moment was when I finally found Terborus and looted him for his bracers. I had been checking that area everyday while I was doing the dailies and finally when I wasn't even looking for him, he appeared. On my way back to the temple of earth I realized that I had mail, so I checked it as soon as I was at the mailbox. A friend of mine had sent me the same bracers that I had just looted from Terborus! AHH! I messaged her and thanked her for thinking of me, we both had a really good laugh about it.
