My favorit moment must have been when I stepped out of the starting area of the taurens in vanilla and into the barrens. The size and different look of it jsut blew me away. There really was a whole new world to explore, different from the green plains of mulgore, hostile but also exciting... Too bad that even with new continents and worlds to explore this feeling of openess and excitement never came back...
I don't know if I'd call this my favourite memory, but it's one that stands out: Fel Reavers! It's just hard to top getting ganked by something so huge and heavy on nearly every toon I've levelled through Outland.
My favorite moment of wow was a time where all the servers were down cuz it was wednsday. so i was in queue for some random server for 45 min and when i got in I created a gnome rogue. the gnome/dwarf starting area was packed with people and i started yelling that i was making a gnome raid for hogger! we almost got a full raid and we ventured out to slay hogger! 40 lvl 1 gnomes! when it took around five minutes to kill him and it was extremly funny when we finally killed him and every on started cheering and dancing! that was freggin epic :D that was my favorite moment! :D
My best time in wow was geting my first epic soon after BC came out on my lvl 61 rouge
My favorite moment in WoW was probably when I first hit lvl 60... while the BC expansion was out. I hadn't bought the expansion yet, and my account was going to go inactive the next day (for school), and someone invited me to a free Molten Core run with a bunch of 70s. Being an excited young chap, I was eager to get in on the action in this new "raiding" thing, but being a squishy warlock meant that I died a fair few times. It was great, though, getting rezzed by a lvl 70 (gasp!). Little did I know that I would feel the same excitement 2 years later, when I was rezzed by King Terenas Menethil during my guild's first Lich King kill. But it was awesome when I was sad about putting the game down for school to see how cool some players could be, and to get half of a tier set, some off-pieces, and the experience of a gametime!
Rolling my first toon. I can still remember seeing Tedrassil for the first time on my Druid. I didn't know anything about tanking, healing, dpsing, feral forms or instances. I just wanted a spell-caster Night Elf and was sooo impressed by the purple scene in front of me and those lovely notes caressing my ears. Those first few levels made me fall so in love with this game I quit my PhD to continue playing full time and here I am 3 years later, still no job, no life, no hope, no anything except a feral/resto drood I call my main :).
Well, mine favourite moment in WoW is my 1st raid agains Oggrimmar...was before the achievments introduces and purely made for fun, tho was just really epic ammount of people ~ 2 full raid groups. The fights itself with coming Horder reinforcements was fun but really epic was just a look at real CROWD moving united by sole mission.Regarding Wowhead: well just opening it 1st time 5 years ago was so epic experience, was using thotbot a bit before..and well that was a whole new insight for a WoW newbee who was familiar to WoW universe solely by 13 years of Warcraft experience before.
Hi there! My favorite flash was when, after a lot of days seeking for Arturis (spiritual pet), i've catch it near eight am. Could it seems ridiculous, but i felt like a child in christmas. ¡Really!
My favourite moment in World of Warcraft is when I realised I could play it even with my broken arm. I was just moping around the house, deprived of my precious WoW time and itt came to me "I can bind keys!". And this honestly happened a just over a week ago. I was the happiest I had ever been and I didn't need to beat my friend mercilessly with my cast...Though I still might
My favourite memory has to be defeating Yogg Saron for the first time, after weeks of wipe. At the time I was in a small raiding guild, which was more of like a family. It was very enjoyable raiding with such a close group of friends, and clearing Ulduar for the first time together was fantastic. Unfortunately I didn't get any loot, but it's still my favourite memory by far.
My favourite moment was a nice quiet picknick on a rooftop in Org, with a friend - shortly after I went to see him in UK, fell in love and ended up staying for 6 months.
Finally downing LK heroic after 2½ months worth of trys, then winning the first Invicible in the guild with a 100 roll.
My favorite moment in Wow is when i hit level 85, because i thought "Yay im finally as strong as the other 85's. they cant brag over me now" My guild really helped me reach my goal too.
So many pathetic memories to choose from.....As I started to play on private servers, noone there actually considered WoW a special game. Just a local client. Skill was based on how good you hack. I was about 13 back then, also just a pathetic noob. And once there was a PuG for Naxx, good hacking people were geared in T2. I was a rogue, I saw another rogue using daggers for combat. I said why use daggers when slow weapons deal more damage with Sinister Strike? I was called a noob and schooled that not weapon speed, but dps on the weapons matters. What did I do? I sent them all to **** out and entered TBC with my happy Mass of McGowan. Glad to remember, that I wasnt useless even back then...
