Mockingbird has an emotional effect on me, aswell. Many of Eminem's songs do, in some degree.

Sadly, this was their only good song. Luckily, it's the only one that most people ever heard, too lol. I loved Smallville.
Haha, yeah; I tried their others songs. On multiple occasions. Even on drugs (lol jk). But no, they're just terrible. That song is good though, and it really did fit into Smallville.
Came to think about it;
Johnny Cash
has one song that I hold very high in regard. Personally, I think it is one of the greatest songs ever. And I don't even like Johnny Cash, nor Country in general. My grandfather wanted us to play it at his funeral, so that may have contributed, though.

(That's How You Sing) Amazing Grace - Low
Everything You Ever - Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog
Without You - RENT
Overcome - Live

Requiem Aeternam - John Rutter

1 - I had never heard this song before, and ran across this video sometime in December 2001. The memories of September 11 were still raw, and I remember sitting and crying for probably a half-hour after watching. The son still brings a lot of emotion to the surface when I hear it.
2 - When I was in high school, our drama department had a production of Our Town. The last scenes of the play take place in a graveyard, and in this case the graves were simply represented by chairs with the 'deceased' sitting in them and conversing with the main character. Our choir director (also our drama director) ended the show by bringing up various colored spots on the empty chairs with this song playing; it was perhaps one of the most powerful moments of theater that I've experienced.

Say My Name
, by Within Temptation always tears me up.
Ravel's
Bolero
generally puts me in an almost meditative state. I had to take a CD with it out of my car. >.>
We need some happy songs. I'll toss out
The Golden Age
by Asteroids Galaxy Tour (or the
Heineken version
, if you prefer). Or something to
get you fired up
.
Addendum: Speaking of getting fired up,
Sophia
, by Cruxshadows. Also my Paladin's theme song. :)

Too many for me to try to list them all off the top of my head, but
here's one
that really got to me, especially being familiar with the source material.
