I'd list all of my RPG's, but some of them you probably wouldn't be able to find.
Implying he will be able to find even 3 of them. :P
I'm sure the emulator sites out there would let him get a lot of those titles.
Ooooh, definitely the Parasite Eve games too. I love Aya :D
Have you played 3rd Birthday yet?

Nope. I'd have to Google that to even know what it is.
Heh, the newest Parasite Eve game, on the PSP; few new mechanics, but faithful to the original series....with a really weird twist to it.

Adams, I wonder. Which Digimon game would you recommend? I used to really like the veeery first Digimon World for PS1 back in the days, and I have recently played Digimon Dawn/Dusk (both), and I found those kinda meh... levelling and collecting was fine, but dunno.

Lufia 2: Rise of the Sinistrals. It's stupid easy to get a ROM of it.

I like Dawn and Dusk heh, and been trying to pick up a copy of Digimon World DS; if you want one where you just raise the Digimon, pick up Digimon World Championship for the DS as well. As for the older games the first three were quite good with different mechanics for all three; one digimon in the original game, team fights for the second one(but the dungeon crawling could get annoying as you had to plan your movements due to losing fuel with each step), the third game was the 'best' for the PS as it had you traveling across a giant world, but it was limited in that you only had access to 9 digimon and their forms.
I also like the last one that came out on the PS2; Digimon World: Data Squad; same issue as DW3 in that there were only 6 total 'controllable' digimon, but you actually got to unlock a metric crap ton of evolutions for them; Agumon could go into the Graymon line, the Guilmon line, and so on, and so forth for the other ones too. Only 'flaw' was that to unlock the specific forms and lines required a lot of grinding in the worlds; one of the requirements to unlock WarGraymon was killing 15+ Mega level digimon, and those were mainly enemies in the last 3 worlds.
But as I've said in many threads, always been more a Digihead then a Pokenut.

Knights of the Old Republic is good.
Lord of the Rings: The Third Age is a good RPG as well. It's turn based though, and you don't really have decisions, and the cutscenes can be choppy.
However, as a game it's a really fantastic strategy focused RPG.

Fallout 3 and New Vegas if you haven't done them yet?
I agree.
These are both great games.

Thanx for the suggestions havent tried most of them question are the new final fantasys turn based still? Cause thats not really my particular cup of tea.
X was the last title to use the classic turn-based system.
And even it was a bit different than the ATB system that the earlier games used.
I'm not sure if X-2 had a regular battle system, because I never played it. From what I heard, it was an abomination, so I won't be looking it up, to make sure. :P
It had one similar to FF VII's.

Eh, KOTOR II wasn't nearly as good as the first, imo.

Because of LucasArts; if you can, find one of the mods that let you play the original restored game.
