Most people griping about the upcoming nerfs are hardcore players, while casuals will benefit from being able to see more content (and guess who Blizz makes more money from). Upset people are usually more vocal about it than complacent people, so just because you read a lot of dissatisfaction, don't let that lead you to believe the majority of the player base feels that way.
Most hard core raiders only play a few nights a week when they raid, I would call that casual.

And hardcore players are used to years of nerfs. It is the hardly boostable, in fire standing rabble complaining about nerfs. They discover all they have accomplished is being moderately behind. And they discover they can not be boosted in the upcoming new game content for the next few months.

I disagree with this claim. Hardcore raiders will be in Firelands. Hardcore raiders understand gear means nothing, performance is what matters. Hardcore raiders understand that having full T11 when T12 is current is not brag worthy. As I stated before, gear makes previous content trivial anyway. Do you think "Bane of the Fallen King," or "Light of Dawn," means anywhere near as much when attained at 85 vs 80?
Exactly this. Hardcore players don't care about these nerfs, they are in Firelands doing current difficult content and getting all new gear and achievements. They don't care if other people get to see content. The casual players don't care either, they actually love the changes. These nerfs will allow the content to be more easily PuGs, which benefits the Casual "I don't have a set schedule" players.
The people who are ticked are the people in guilds who struggled to get 2 or 3 hardmodes down, -think- they are awesome, and -think- that the gear they wear is the biggest reflection of how awesome they are. What they don't understand is that people coming and getting 359 gear in 4.2
doesn't
make that casual person better than you or equal to you; that's all in your head.

Some guy once said '
I don't want the game to be nerfed down to my level, I want to rise myself to the level of the game.
' and that '
Nerfing content only encourages bad players to stay bad instead of improving
.'
I agree.

They had 6 months to get better. And I already said, nothing will encourage a bad player to get better, and some players are happy being bad. Bad players are easy to avoid.

I disagree with the nerf's simply because they enforce brute-forcing mechanics. Hydro-Lance isn't any easier to interrupt, it's only less penalizing to not interrupt it. I would rather they say, increased it's cast time, making it easier to interrupt, then making interrupting it trivial.

EDIT: And you know what yes, I will admit I dont like the fact that people can do it easy now. Shoot me im the devil, but yes to me it cheapens the experience of working so hard for it when everybody will be able to do it after Blizzard nerfs it into the ground, and Im not the only one. They make the raids difficult for a reason, so people have to work for it. There we go, Im the worst person on the planet QQ.
It would seem your perspective here is based solely on your own experience. Here is another situation for your consideration. A player's guild has been on hiatus since the end of wotlk and plans to resume with the arrival of 4.2. Now with the boss encounters of 4.1 raids nerfed on normal mode they can more easily gear on their way to 4.2 content all the while having the heroic 4.1 raid option at their fingertips.
Also while people are busy downing 4.1 content for the first time I assume you will be downing 4.2 and will therefore be that much ahead in your acomplishments (gear) and will have no fear of your epeen being tarnished.
