are you talking about PvP Cat?....
Well... In PvP skill has a huge effect, so post what you do? Maybe.....
Otherwise gear look ok.

Find an arena partner that can clear roots from you.
Unbelievably important.
Agi = Resil > 5% hit > 97 spen > mastery > crit > haste > expertise
As an FYI
Get your bleeds on target at all times. Rake and 5cp Rip.
This keeps the pressure on as much as possible
Shred like a mofo...
yes it is more then worth taking the time to get behind a player and do this then it is to mangle spam...
Only mangle spam if the target has their back to a corner or a ledge.
Because sometimes the other player is smart
Skill >>>>> Gear
You ARE going to die... a lot... until you get the hang of the class and how to play it. Expect it and embrace it. The WORST thing that can happen is you get sent back to the GY and you lose a match. Be prepared to loose 50% of the time. No one class will ever be the "win all class" (for those who beg to differ I'm speaking of the top tier levels of skill)

-what is the spel pen for ? thought it was mostly bleads.
Cyclone, you will want to use it to reduce the incoming damage on yourself or your partner, to lock out a memebr of the other team for long enough to hit something hard or use it as a way to close the gap while preventing heals on someone running from you.
-i was under the impresion expertise was important. is it because of the fact i ams upose to be behind that makes it less so ?
Players cannot dodge attackers from behind and since you want to be there 100% of the time there is not need to get any. You will notice that PvP gear has never come with this stat on it.
- What is a good opening rotation to start out on some one ?
I will have to talk to my partner and see what he uses.
Only addons he uses are Need To Know and Gladius.

Armor Penetration was removed. Spell Penetration does the same thing it did in Classic: reduces the numeric resistance of your target to all spells by the exact amount of your Spell Penetration.

Yes it does, it's a nature spell, so it helps bypassing an enemy's nature resistance.
Ofc it won't help when the enemy player pops a cd that makes them immune to roots.

Further notes from my arena partner that actually plays the feral spec:
Bandages can be used in form and SHOULD be used, especially when rooted..
Don't forget that you can heal and CC, especially when rooted.
Never underestimate the power of Nature's Grasp.

Since no one mentioned an answer to the "what's a good opening" question:
I believe it's...
Prowl > Feral Charge (Cat) > Pounce > Shred to 5 combo (unless they manage to turn around, then mangle spam to 5) > Maim
After that, I'm pretty-well clueless, I'm resto pvp. XD I just know what I see/hear my guildies do and what I've read briefly. But that should keep them in pretty much one place while you munch on them. Even better if you have a partner close by to help with the carnage. :D

Meh, I tried. I didn't think of it that way, but yeah, so many classes have a way to get away from you quick that it's probably best to save that feral charge when they're trying to make a break for it.

Don't forget about Ravage! as opposed to Ravage.
