I read on numerous sources that since the death of the lich king the knights of the ebon blade have dissolved. and in that one quest for the battle of the one city (im new here, be nice and I forget the citys name) sylvanas decided to re educate the belf dk. so would that mean if the Knights of the ebon blade are no more, and they have returned to the alliance or horde, the horde ones now count as forsaken? I need to know where my goblin DK fits in lore. thanks.

No.

any reason as to why not?

The fosaken are former lodarean-ers.

thats not really true, because the forsaken are really kind of just undead that arent under the control of the lich king. those angel people that raised the dead in the battle for bumblebee land (Im just calling that city bumblebee land for now) were from northrend, not lordaeron, and sylvanas said they wre the future for the forsaken.

/sigh.
I am disappoint forums.
He's making a rather valid argument, he's talking about Koltira Deathweaver's alliance to the Forsaken. Koltira Deathweaver is not in any way Lordaeron-ian. I suppose you could say he wishes to serve under the Banshee Queen, as she's of his old kingdom, but you shouldn't dismiss his query so arbitrarily.

A Death Knight Tauren would be under Baine before it would be under Sylvanas.
Race trumps class.
And yet, Sylvanas drags him off to be tortured...yeah....

so youre saying that any member of a race can choose which faction to follow? like my goblin dk could say he wants to further the cause of the Tauren he could be accepted as one of their commanders if he had enough experience and dedication to the tauren?

Wouldn't Koltira be under Lor'themar just as easily by that logic?

then again, reputation could also have a big part in which faction someone could follow.
Kuropatkin (my Gobbo Dk): I got you guys 60 more stacks of cloth, killed the ogres releasing floaters in your fishing pond, saved the flying kodos in stranglethorn from tuskarr warlocks, and wore your ugly brown tabard to over 9000 heroic level 85 raids despite my guildies laughing at me, am I exalted yet?
Tauren: No. you have brought us 4999998 stacks of cloth. you need two more. you dont care about us enough yet.
Kuropatkin: IM JUST 2 FRIGGIN STACKS AWAY WHAT DOES IT MATTER!

Yes; I've never understood why he was considered to be a Forsaken when he was an Elf first, unless they were suggesting he has some connection to her in the past...which doesn't make a lot sense since he wasn't a ranger.
And going by your own flimsy logic, then all Death Knights should be a part of the Forsaken cause they are all dead, whether they are Alliance or Horde.

If he proved himself, wouldn't be a real issue.

It's not strong logic either, since they are still capable of remembering what they used to be.

I never said un-Scourged dead are Forsaken, but I just noted that the one-sentence (or one word) arbitrary responses were stupid and unhelpful. It's very possible a Tauren DK would feel more at home among the dead.

Now that the Lich King is 'dead', many of the members of the Ebon Blade are probably trying to find a new focus, or at least a new threat to redirect their anger and hatred towards. That means that many of them return to their factions, as in the Alliance or the Horde, not always necessarily their homelands. Koltira was at Andorhal as a member of the Horde, not as a soldier of Lor'themar or Sylvanas. That said, there may be some rare instances when an undead of another race, say a goblin, or even a dwarf, joins with the Forsaken for safety and protection, having been, or feeling, rejected by their former lives.
