Well Asa is always right, why do you think I asked in his guide :P
My lock
I figured out simcraft for the stats weights...I think.
Int: 3.2703 Hit: 1.7186 Haste: 1.3276 Crit: 1.3276 Mastery: 0.8~
And then rechecked my gemming, seems I am good at the moment.
Edit: Mis copied the mastery it was about 0.8.

Actually I was thinking about reforging the stump to get more haste bit I am literally 1 rep away from
Rune of Zeth
. So will do some calculating based on that later.

I wonder one thing, I checked the EJ races bonus for damage and stuff and there's a list of highest damaging races too.
They mention worgen is the best race since they have that 1% crit, which apparently is better than all the other alliance races (sadly we can't have draenei 1% hit, so).
I see a lot of people switching worgen for the DPS increase, but I hardly see a worgen topping charts anyway (maybe skill related).
But I wonder, would switching from Dwarf to Worgen make much difference? (in my case)

Personally I really wouldn't suggest spending real money of a race change for a DPS increase.
I included race options in my
Assessing the Options
thread so you can see there that you're looking at less than a 1% increase for any of the major specs.
A character would gain as much by changing Mining to Herbalism or gain
more
by changing out Herbalism to Tailoring - just to put it in perspective. I've seen people talk about taking a race change for DPS reasons that use a gathering profession or even don't have both professions fully levelled.(##RESPBREAK##)8##DELIM##asakawa##DELIM##

If you grab the valor bracers that will replace a good chunk of hit lost from stump, then reforge the bracers and neck to hit. Then you can reforge rune to haste. Our tier is pretty hit heavy, so once you get those your set and ready to rape rags.
Edit: I'm a reforge nerd, ignore me. I sit and stare at my stats for hours and find ways to get 15 haste here, 10 mastery there. It's prolly my favorite new edition in cata.
Haha, its ago, I'll remember it for when I need it.
Those bracers are not in the list I want so wasting vp on it seems bad. I am going for tier gloves Which also give me a nice chunk of hit.
Actually if you want to try and optimize something try and optimize the list I made at the beginning of this tier :P
One list for normal modes, one for heroic modes.

I was holding out for gloves as long as I could hoping for a BH drop, but nothing. I have seen barely any tier. It's 99% pvp I see dropping from there. Well i got the gloves, now I'm waiting for legs. As far as valor goes, alot of it it poorly optimized. The ring, bracers are kinda meh. So I don't blame you. I actually got the bracers from your list there. The arrogant doom ones.
I already bought everything else of interest from VP gear, poorly optimized lot indeed, thats why I am getting the gloves this week and after that selling the boe wrists. Used to get 16k for the boots last tier, must have gotten me about 40k without even trying, wonder what the wrists will get me this tier.

Yeah I thought of that being pretty points, 1% crit isn't gonna chance much since how RNG works.
Not to mention that I've seen several worgen classes out there putting out their best dps, but don't seem to catch up with other races, being even more about skill :/
At least it relieves me, though I think a change for Orc (for example) might be a far bigger difference than the alliance ones.

Well depends on server and when in the tier you are selling them. Boots were 16k when I started but hardly 3k near the end.

After hearing so much about demo I have decided to make the switch (just getting a few pieces with big amounts of mastery first). What I have always wondered, but never asked because I never stayed demo long, is how to manage your cooldowns.
I always use my orc racial, lifeblood and demon soul at the same time, no GCD's and all 2 minute cd's.
Ideally I want to use them at the same time as meta, but because of the RNG in its CD that isn't always possible. From EJ I understand that its worth waiting 20-30 seconds to line em up.
But what do you do if, for example, meta is up but the others are still on a 1 minute cd? Do you use meta, then the other cd's when they are up? Do you use meta and save the other cd's for the next meta?
And is there any difference if its the other way around (cd's are ready but meta isn't yet)?

My feeling is that a minute is far too long to be sitting on something as important as Meta. However, I haven't played Demo in this tier beyond some Rhyolith attempts (I was back to Aff by the time we got the kill) so I'd be really interested if Lock13 has some insight on this question.

Well the thing is with haste demo is that the theory of getting more impending doom procs might seem good but in realistically you will have something like 15% max more haste then going mastery I would say. Thats .25 second faster shadow bolts. Thats not going to be a whole lot more shadow bolts (considering the fact you are casting other spells that have higher priority).
So yeah, going mastery only seems to make sense. But that was not my question.
My question is: Meta and cd's are more then a minute apart? Wait for them to line up? Or use meta (and then what to do with the cd's?)?

Hmmm good point.
Guess I'll make a macro that ties in all the cd's to meta then, and then I just have to monitor meta cd and one of the other cooldowns.
Thanks for the help.
