My best achievement was getting the Dreadsteed for my lock, because back in the day we had to grind the mats to get it ;P and the gold.
My proudest achievement is . Having to endure a years worth of festivals and making sure not to miss one proved very challenging to me. I am happy that I was able to persevere and claim my Reins of the Violet Proto-Drake in the end.

my proudest achievement to get was the champion of the frozen wastes. I received it towards the very end of WotlK
The Light of Dawn, or Insane in the Membrane back before Shen'Dralar was removed!
My Favourtie Achievement that i am most proud of is From hell's heart i stab at thee.It took for ever but we got there and it was awesome to finally get it.YAY!
Heroic: Sinestra is definitely my favorite because it's my 3rd realm first of this tier, and it was really satisfying.
Insane in the Membrane, without discussion..The title "xxxxx the Insane" is EPIC! Just Epic...
I haven't ever really been too keen on achievements, I don't pay much attention to which I've gotten. So I'll go with Working Day and Night since it's such a rare occurrence that I actually level a profession up, let alone two.
Without a doubt, Herald of the Titans. I've only encountered a few people with this, and it's always one of those doubletake highfive moments. It was very difficult finding enough people that were competent, dependable, and willing to put the time in to put the set together. Definitely one of the few achievements that is actually an achievement and not just something that you get from doing your normal stuff anyway.
<Going Down> because seriously i can never get that one on purpose on any toon, its always i step too close to an edge, Wince and close my eyes and then im like How did i survive that?...OOH! i got an achievement!
My favorite achievement is definitely the Loremaster. I worked my butt off trying to finish up before Cataclysm hit, on a character that even before achievements was intending to do every Alliance quest in the game. I completed Loremaster of Eastern Kingdoms and of Kalimdor before heading to Outlands for the first time at level 65. When I finally finished that last group quest in Icecrown, I felt so incredibly accomplished.
I'm definately going to have to say Hallowed Be Thy Name, the Hallow's End achievement. This may not seem like much, and as a max level, it definately isn't. But I got this a couple years back on my first toon, as a level 63 Night Elf rogue. I had no titles at the time, and I really wanted one. I spent my entire week farming innkeepers and travelling around Azeroth for candy buckets. The problem came at the end of the event, I needed to down the Headless Horseman. 4 very considerate people helped me through this, but one problem remained: I had no "Hallowed helm". Every hour, I checked at the innkeeper, no hallowed helm. There was one chance left, the event ended in 59 minutes and I had one trick or treat left, I went up to the innkeeper, clicked Trick or Treat...and got.... turned into an imp. I was upset, there was no way I came this far just to fall at the last hurdle. In desperation, I pleaded with people on trade chat to get me into a group for the headless horseman, and they killed him. And the hallowed helm dropped. I got the achievement as well as my first title ever, it was a brilliant moment. From then on I completed every event, and even got the achievement for doing every single event, but I don't think any achievement has ever had as much dedication or special place in my heart as this one.-Zivhayr the Hallowed
