Dun MoroghThe first character I created was a Dwarf Hunter, at the suggestion of a friend that it would be a good class with which to solo. Coldridge Valley is a small, snow-filled crater in Dun Morogh and it's a pretty isolated game environment in which to start. Still, you help out a few folks, pick up some gear, and get a breadcrumb quest to Kharanos. You battle your way through a cave infested with Troggs and then emerge into these rolling mountains and snow-covered evergreens.Birds fly among the trees and the land is filled with wild cats and bear. The snow crunches beneath your feet. The mountains are beautiful, the landscape chilling, and you get a sense of just how resilient and dug-in is the dwarven race. Everywhere are the patrols and rifleman. As you make your way down the road, a raucous bunch of dwarves are commencing target practice. As you make your way through the zone, you take on Frost Trolls and radiated Gnomes. At the time you acquired your first pet, as a Hunter. Then you come upon Ironforge, carved into the mountainside and filled with Dwarves of all kinds. The scholarly architects and librarians, profession trainers, the technologically imposing Tinkertown, the somewhat frightening Forlorn Cavern, and pulsating heart of the city: The anvil. You can even walk straight up to the leader of the Dwarves himself who - even though a dwarf - seemed to tower over you.Back in Dun Morogh proper you discover any number of rare enemies, including Timber and his pack or - if you were lucky - the white bear, Bjarn. You take down Trogg after Trogg in Gol'Bolar Quarry, save Amberstill Ranch from a preying Yeti, meet the mysterious Father Gavin, and avenge a pilot attacked by a huge ice bear before traveling through the impressive tunnels of Eastern Dun Morogh into The Valley of Kings in Loch Modan. He continues to be my main to this day.

My favorite Zone is deepholm. It's full of level and caves. It has the best detail and craftsmanship of any zone i've see. I hope to see more like it in the future.
I love Ashenvale forest because now, even as a Horde, I can easily relive the landscape I used to loved so much as a newborn Night Elf WoW player.
My favourite zone in Nagrand. I like the lore, I love the enviroment, I love how light it looks, and how it cheers you up when you're there. It's also my favourite leveling zone, and one of the highlights and reasons of leveling an alt. :)
My favourite zone to discover was Howling Fjord (back in the day), not because it looked so much cooler, or that the quests were more interesting, but simply because, this was the 1st place where I noticed hostile NPCs interacting with each other. I actually stopped and starred at the male Shoveltusk ramming at each other just like if I were watching some low res discovery show.
Teldrassil is my choice. I love the ambient sound, the colors, the atmosphere. I love to roll a new night elf character just because of the starting area. :)
Back when i was alliance, i used to spend hours near the lighthouse in Westfall. There was a small island a few yards away from the lighthouse, and i just went there and AFK'd for hours, while phased out, or whatever. It was really calm, since hardly any people went there to quest, and there weren't any mobs nearby. Now that i play as horde, i like spending my "idle time" atop the rocks on the tallest parts of Orgrimmar,
Uldum hands down! I'm a big Indiana Jones fan so the Harrison Jones quest lines were the icing on the cake.
Western Plague lands. Pre and Post shattering, the amount of lore that surrounds the area from Warcraft 3 and from World of Warcraft is great. I especially enjoyed the old Tirion Fordring quests that were set around Hearthglen.
I love the visuals in Vashj'ir. Leaving Shimmering Grotto and seeing Nespirah for the first time was a visually epic experience.
