my favourite zone of all times- Ashenvale. Night elf zone, soothing forest sough ,theme music fulfil you, you feel relaxed.Damn , I wish I was born night elf :)
My favorite zone is definitely Vashj'Ir, for multiple reasons:Reason One - It's underwater how awesome is that?Reason Two - It has actual creatures that you can't kill and are part of the landscape, swim down and look at the coral reefs.Reason Three - It is visually stunning greater than any other area, in my opinion, art wise. Reason Four - From Hell's Heart I Stab at Thee <--- awesome
There are lots of zones I love...but "favorite" most often swings between Feralas and Winterspring. To pick just one, I'll say Feralas. It's just gorgeous, deep, calming, and has a mystical tone. The enormous, sheltering trees and interesting, dynamic topography all help. The deep green lighting on the zone is just instantly relaxing, too.
i dont really have a favorite zone, but if i was to choose, id go with dragonblight simply because it deals with the one type of creatures i love the most.....and that is dragons. The quest chain there is cool, as well.
This was tough, as i like alot of the content in WoW, both old and new. My favourite cata zone by far is probably Vashj'ir, not for playability but graphics wise. The way the zone is laid out, and the fact that its underwater brought a whole new dynamic aspect to the game which really left me (as im sure alot of players) astounded as to the things blizzard can achieve both graphically and realistically. But that said, my favourite zone is either a toss up between Winterspring and Shadowmoon Valley. Winterspring was always (and is still to this day) a very picturesque, serene place to be. The music and snowy hills brings a peaceful feeling when walking around the zone, and i really enjoyed questing there for that reason. As a total contrast to that, Shadowmoon Valley at level 70 had a real "end-of-the-world" feel to it. The meteors flying in the distance, the green fel flames, and all the npc's there especially the ones in the run up to Black Temple really made you feel like a hero. When you had 24 of your buddies running up towards the Black Temple and all of the scenery was going on you really felt like this was it, like you were the few band of heroes Azeroth had entrusted to stop Illidan, and this was your last stand.
Dun da da dun..... Uldum. For one simple reason: Harrison Jones.
Vashj'ir by far is my fave. After all, who hasn't looked at a fish tank and wondered what its like to be in there. Well, now you know!
