I think the Isle of Quel'danas (along with every other blood elf themed zone) has to be my favorite. I'm a dedicated belf player, I love the lore and the art direction is above and beyond any other racial zone. I just wish they would let us fly in Silvermoon...
Hello everybody,I still prefer Terrokar Forest, start in Shattrath City, a city off it's own kind, fly low trough Cenarion Thicket until Firewing point, turning south and passing the Skettis, trough Auchindon and turning north at the Bleeding Hollow Ruins until you reach you starting point. Enjoy as the crazy landscape keeps changing and it's inhabitants, so eager to chop your head off, populate the landscape turning Terrokar Forest into one of the all-time favorites.Hope you enjoyed it to!
I would have to say Orgrimmar is my favorite place because of a stupid little memory I have of it. I'd have to say I was around level 50 or so and back then I obsessed with achievements enough that I would try to get them long before it was reasonable to think about it. One day I was fishing and looking through those achievements and decided "Hey, I'm gonna be a fishing diplomat!" so I ended up spending the entire day corpse running through Orgrimmar to get to that fishing spot inside. When I finally got there, I just danced until I died, then stayed there for days fishing and dying until I fished up Old Crafty, then I danced some more! Ah...good times. I remember at one point I ended up having fifteen or so Hordies fishing with me since a level 50 something Ally in Orgrimmar was something you didn't see every day. I'm pretty sure they tried to defend me whenever I was killed as well, cause every time I was killed I'd see one of them duel whoever killed me.
I would have to say that the Isle of Quel'Danas was probably my favorite zone. It was the zone that got me back into playing WoW, the colors, music and just the all around atmosphere was just captivating for me, enough so that would not miss a day of grinding out dailies. Plus not to mention it was the patch that i got to introduce my wife to the fight for azeroth. I never saw someone so dedicated into leveling a toon so that she could get into the new content with me. But through that persistance we spent loads of time on that isle, whether it was doing dailies or just standing around waiting for a group to get together for MGT or SWP (again two of my favorite dungeons) man I couldn't wait to blow up Kil'jaeden every week on my Shaman, but in either case i love that place and it will always have a place in my heart. So for that I thank Blizz for helping me get out of wife agro, Isle of Quel'Danas was my disengage.
My favourite zone is Storm Peaks.I fell in love with this zone as soon as I set foot on it. The landscape full of snow, the sparkling stars above, the sparse settlements, and the overall mysterious aura of the zone made me feel really...small.The ancient structures of the Titans, the frozen battle, Mammoths...Time-Lost Proto drake...everything seems so enigmatic. It also possesses the coolest Wotlk raid: Ulduar. If you had to ask me what makes me love it so much, it's probably because I felt like I was in a really, really far place in the world. A place where not many people have been, and one that possesses many, many secrets that we may not even learn of.It's truly a magnificent zone. Love every snowy inch of it.
I would go with Nagrand its so colorful and pretty :).
My favorite zone would have to be the Death Knight starting zone, Eastern Plaguelands ( Scarlet Enclave). You start off working for the bad guys which is an interesting change of pace and perspective; is rich in the lore of the inner workings of the death knights and the Scarlet Crusade. To top it all off: the big epic climactic battle between the scourge and the Argent Dawn.I love remaking DK's just to go through it again and again. :)
It must definitely be the good Ol' Hinterlands. I fondly remember when Jintha'Alor was full of elites. Grouping up with a bunch of friends to be able to complete all the Group quests for the amazing rewards. It was simply such an amazing zone to level in, all the elite quests, delicious grinding quests and a pretty interesting lore. All that paired up with some standard pvp.
Pre-shattering Azshara. It was the most distinct zone with its permanent autumn and although there were only few quests some of them were really epic, especialy the AQ chain part with Azuregos and Razelikhs chain.
Vashj'ir, swimming around is fun, and the whole place is beautiful to look at.I was thinking about the Badlands, but really it wasn't the Badlands I liked, rather Rhea's quest line, and of course, the Day Deathwing Came.
I absolutely adored the feel that Grizzly Hills gave me, and the background music really fits it too. And the quests about the corrupt world tree and how Yogg was involved in it gave me a far greater understanding of just how powerful the Old Gods really are
The new Westfall its just so rich in lore and overall my favorite zone!
