Pre-Cataclysm Duskwood was my favorite, besides of course Kara..

Since I first started the game in December of 2005 I'll still remember going though Silverpine and turning in a quest from an undead in Thunderbluff to leave a necklace on a gravestone. I remember reading the quest that said she was married to a paladin who left her and she wanted nothing of it. After finishing the quest and the text came from that I was blown away. I'll always remember that zone, along with duskwood and the plaguelands. I have a thing for the spooky forest zones.
I love all of outlands with it's impossible places but particularly Netherstorm, feels like I'm working my way up to destroy the death star Kael' thas plans.
I liked Nagrand. It had something for everyone, a rep to grind, an AWESOME PvP zone, places to farm eternals/leather - pretty much everything.Seriously, Halaa was awesome.
The Storm Peaks is my most favorite zone. Why? Because I've spent so much time in that zone, staring at the snowy mountains and hills, camping for that Time-Lost Proto-Drake, that I've made a special bond with that zone.
My favorite zone is Teldrassil. I love the how beautiful the environment is and the lead up of the quests to take you to Darnassus, my favorite city.
Definitely Ashenvale - pre and post shattering. Having only ever played Horde it was when I first hit Ashenvale that I thought...hmmm the alliance areas are so much more..."pretty". The music is atmospheric, turn it off and the atmospherics are brilliant esp post shattering.
1k needles post shattering. the quest lines are fun, especially the diving quests. the boats are comical, as are some of the topside quests. Epic!
If instances count, then I'll say the inner falls of Maraudon. It's simply breathtaking, with the beautiful waterfalls, green surroundings, and cool bosses! Caves have never been so... non gloomy.
My favorite zone is hard to pick. I love Azshara ever since the Shattering. It was an awesome replacement for going to the Barrens if you were a Troll, an Orc, or a Tauren. In terms of higher up areas I loved Mt. Hyjal for leveling my Hunter and my Warrior. From 0-60 it's a toss-up between Azshara and Thousand Needles (which was amazingly fun post-Shattering). 61-70 is Nagrand because, in all honesty, I hated the other BC zones. They're bland and just not very much fun. 71-80 I have to say it's a toss-up between Storm Peaks and Dragonblight with a lean towards Dragonblight and 81-85 it's Mt. Hyjal. Overall, I'm going to go with Mt. Hyjal because, let's face it, the giant volcanic turtle was pretty BA.
My favourite zone is Grizzly Hills. I love the music and it reminds me of old Nintendo games.
This is a hard question, there are so many zones which are awesome...After much consideration I have narrowed the result down to one by a very small margin Sholazar Basin is the lucky zone as it was a lot of fun running around in before anyone else got there (I went on a harvesting binge at 71 the night Wrath came out and made a lot of coin - to pay back the 10k gold I borrowed to pay for the Annihilator Holo-gogs recipe.) After levelling through Wrath and going back to quest I really enjoyed the change of pace with the puppy men and big tongues, plus Hemet never lets me down. The zone is larger than life, has awesome ambience and was simply awesome to do so much zone I redid the puppy men faction a second time.Second place fell to Uldum which is another zone with lots of Titan lore as well which is another reason I like Sholazar Basin as well. Maybe next time Indy and ancient Egypt will win my choice, and of course running of hundreds of my own people for the good of the race...Cheers.
