Deepholm has to be my favorite zone so far. The place looks awesome and the quests have been fast and nice xp.
I'd have to say my favorite zone/zones (is it ok if I have 2?) are Scholazar Basin and Un'goro Crater. I've always been a fan of sci fi so things of that galactic nature in WoW capture my attention the most. I just love running around the zones and seeing their influence and the amazing technology they brought with them and left behind. I know there are many more areas that clearly show Titan presence such as Ulduar, Uldaman, and Uldum but story of the Titans traveling around the world creating and advancing life to create peace in the universe intrigues me to no end so I like seeing the zones they actively influenced. I just hope that eventually WoW evolves into us meeting the Titans and possibly traveling to another planet that the Titans also visited. I'd like to see how their creations have evolved over time.

I would have to say Thousand Needles is my favorite area both before as well as after Cataclysm.Beforehand was mainly due to the effects of the sun shimmering off of the desert in the completely hilarious Shimmering flats. The races were great and always provided a respite with a little bit of humor. After finding the entire area flooded I was shocked but after questing there and getting my boat the song "I'm on a boat" runs through my head and brings me a grin every time.
Favorite zone is a tie; Eastern and Western Plaguelands, prior to Cataclysm's changes. I played WoW before I had ever played Warcraft Three, and I didn't know much about the entire story behind them, but they intrigued me. All the undead, all the Argent Dawn, they pushed me to play Warcraft Three, at which point I simply ended up falling in love with the zones even more, especially due to the culling of Stratholme, and the return to it as an undead instance.
My favorite zone in all of azeroth is Alterac Valley. Its my favorite zone because i farmed countless hours pvping in that bg when it went on for hours. I really explored every single inch of that zone and killed a hordey in every place within that zone, just love it because of nostalgia.
Uldum is my favorite because it has LOLcats and Harrison Jones. What else could you need?
Deepholm. I love the pillars that explode and then reform, and I love the subtle colors throughout the zone.
My favorite zone is Nagrand. I just love the floating waterfall rocks, the sun and grass everywhere, and Oshu'gun. Nagrand just seems to be the most peaceful zone to me.
I love the new Thousand Needles. The barge is awesome!
My favorite zone would have to be Silvermoon City. I just love the peace and serenity I get from just sitting down and relaxing there. The lore there is so amazing that I could never get bored. This is one zone I feel gets overlooked because it is out of the way and noone really sees the true beauty of it. Blizzard went above and beyond on this one.
nagrand, I loved the land with the floating islands on top of that its very green unlike the rest of outlands
Teldrassil. I am glad that I picked a night elf to level; I got to be completely isolated while doing my first few levels. I felt no pressure to level quickly as a result, instead exploring the grand terrain in Teldrassil. My crowning achievement was finding a path over the mountains near the starting zone from east to west, jumping to and fro.My lowest moment was falling off the edge and killing myself up at the far north of the isle. I was too far down and couldn't resurrect at the edge; I fell as a wisp and then wasn't sure whether to accept in midair or not. This was answered for me soon as I out-ranged my corpse and fell to the water. I then proceeded to hover all around Teldrassil to Rut'theran Village (very, very long trip) and took resurrection sickness for the very first time. This is pre-return to graveyard, obviously. In hindsight, a GM would have been a good guy to talk to :).
Feralas as a hunter / Roleplayer it gives me a place to play hide and go kill alliance that and dire maul is just fun to go play around in.
Thousand Needles, if only because of the quest where a bunch of windriders eat a man's face and carry him off a cliff-- there's something oddly settling about having a bunch of flesh-hungry windrider cubs loving on you that much. <3 Plus, running like a champ under water.
Most definitely Eversong Woods. Blood Elf architecture is just so incredibly beautiful in my opinion and the autumn foliage of the zone makes the scenery even prettier. All in all in has a very mystical feel to it. Also, the general emptiness emphasises the tragedy of the zone, both in terms of lore (Scourge killing everyone) and gameplay (nobody ever goes there).
