The best tier set is priest T6 Vestments of AbsolutionIt just looks so damn cool =D
Sorry if I insult anyone but were you guys hit on the head frequently as childs or what? The Lock t6 Malefic Raiment set has been / is and possibly will remain the most awesome designed set. Anyone that says anything different are saying that only cause they did not have a lock with t6 gear.. seriously tell me you were not like " OMFG LOOK AT THOSE FRIGGIN WINGS " when you`d see a lock in t6 and I'll tell you that you're lying.I remember the days when I`d spend more than 24h in a net cafe doing nothing but playing my lock and poeple would come up and say DUUUUUDE you got a lock with t6 ! Make babies with my gf! Nah but seriously lock t6 is unmatched. Period.
When i climbed out of bed in the Stormwind Tavern, I would head to my wardrobe and carefully removed from the hangers within. Slipping on the long white robe, and carefully tugging on the massive shoulders that mimiced Angel's wings. I got ready to head to the Cathedral to get in my daily prayers. Last but not least I tugged on the hood that hid everything but my glowing eyes. And stepped out of the tavern and out into the city. Heading towards another day of healing my friends, and keeping the evils of Azeroth at bay.]
I would have to say that my all-time favorite tier set would have to be the first set I ever completed for my druid, with my first raiding guild, amongst the people I still hang with to this day on the same realm. It was quite a few months spent fighting through Kara, Gruul, and Mag. We never got far, but I wore the majority of the Malorne Raiment tier 4 set Malorne Raiment (I leveled Resto /flex) for my climb from 70-80. I was sad to see it go.
SHAMAN T6!most shamanism like decorated gear.
I love all the old 60 pvp sets that you still can get. They look godd without being too much but still enough to look fancy.
Hunter tier 6, Gronnstalker, is my favorite for many reasons. Mainly because I actually wore it to raid during Burning Crusade and that was the most fun I have ever had in the game due to my great guild and friends. I also grew to love the way the set looks, as it is an eye-catching, but not ugly, color and has a very complete look without being over-the-top as the current ones all seem to be. Sure the eyeballs on the shoulders originally weirded me out, but now I think they're awesome!
Pala t2 , I loved that set
My favorite Tier set of all time is a toss-up between Dreadnaught's Battlegear and Redemption Armor.I played a Holy Paladin back in Vanilla. Maybe that makes me bias. I don't know. I really enjoyed the Redemption set, and honestly, the looks never really bothered me. As a raid healer, the 8 piece set bonus was a delight, if not entirely beneficial. It was the last 9 piece set, basically, and for that I'm sad. I know; it's easier and faster to make 4-6 piece sets. However, it's just less interesting.I'm also a lorefreak. My favorite lore happens to be from the WCRPG, and I have always loved Dark Iron. The intricate quest structure of the Argent Dawn basically explained the sets, who makes them and how, and that always really entertained me. Dreadnaught's Battlegear is a suit made almost entirely of Dark Iron; enchanted, no less. The combination of dark gray and glowing, ice blue gave this set a haunting look. It turned your Warrior into a Deathknight. Not the emo kind, either!I regret that they couldn't create equally awesome sets (by look) with their dopplegangers in Wrath of the Lich King. On that note, I'm also sad for the loss of the Cryptstalker Armor, which by far has both the best visual effects and color palette of just about any hunter set you'll likely find.
For me Merciless Gladiator's Investiture was the best armor set ever for a priest it combined the fact priests are ment to be holy with the wings and the hooded clock with 2 dots of light for eyes and the halo gave the real impression that this set was made just for priests and it looked like an angel and gave it that style you would only dream of in the current state of wow. I also like how its a little ironic because you look like an angel but it is pvp gear so would be more of an angle of death sort of thing giving off the impression its like i will save your soul but you try and cross it and i will take you to hell.
Deathknight tier 10 set, because that was in my opinion one of the best looking sets in game, it just really fits the deathknight.
