Hunter Tier 4. With the awesome looking horns and the aggressive lines, it suits the nature of a hunter. It was so awesome that even a raid boss wore it! (well.. One Kael'thas' advisor did anyways.. Master Engineer Telonicus).
revamped t7, cos noone had t3 :P
I like the latest tier 12 armor set based on stats.
Priest S3 is amazing. I love the shoulders and the helm and the set's color is much better.
Battlegear of Might, Warrior Tier 1, will always hold a special place in my heart. But if I could widen the scope of the question beyond raid tier gear, I would pick the Field Marshal's Battlegear, combined w/ Arathor Battle Tabard, Onslaught Girdle & Sulfuras, Hand of Ragnaros (ofc).
My favorite Tier of Gear was tier 10! It marked the first time in my history of playing WOW I was able to acquire tier gear at the appropriate level for several of my toons - those were VERY exciting days during Wrath!
I think I'll have to go with druid T5. I never did get it myself but the looks are great. It fits the style of the class without overdoing it with crazy antlers or the like, and the dark color scheme makes it feel like it's meant for business. T10 is quite nice for the same reasons, except for the helm which is just plain stupid so I'll stick with T5. T3/T7 is stylish as well, if maybe a bit too shiny and polished for a druid. Hunter and priest T3 are also high on my list, but I'll still be biased and pick a druid set.
My favorites Are Warlock T5 Rogue and T5

For me it has to be Thunderheart Raiment. It was the first druid tier set that looked like it was designed for Tauren druids, all of the other druid sets before it seemed like they were designed for Night elf druids. It was pretty iconic for Tauren druids and felt like a small nod to a race that sometimes felt a little forgotten. It made me feel a little proud to be a Tauren druid.
First of all, good luck to all the other contestants! In my opinion, the the best Tier sets for each class (not really counting stats here) are the one's that you really can identify to the class itself. Examples of bad Tiers in that perspective would be for example the Tier 9 Raid Set for Priest Triumphant Zabra's Regalia which makes you look like a Warlock rather than a Priest, or the Tier 11 for Rogues Wind Dancer's Regalia I don't even know what's going on there. The tiers that came with WOTLK however didn't disappoint, designing the gear for this expansion worked out very well and most gears look like armors made from the bones of an ancient evil, hidden away in the treasure hold of some mountain in the far north. Being from Sweden i could really relate to the scandinavia-inspired land and culture of Northrend, so those Tier sets are in a way special to me.The best series of Tiers would still be the Tier 6 Raid Sets, the one and only Tier where the entire series really looks like it's designed for each specific class, they still manage that pretty well, but lately, it's like they're running out of ideas, and adjusting the designs to an ongoing expansion rather then the classes themselves. That was back in the good old days, where Druids looked like Druids, Paladins like Paladins, and Warriors like freaking badasses, even the set for Priests was perfect and really awe-inspiring.The winner among all would still be the Tier 6 for Rogues, Slayer's Armor Slayer's Armor it looks awesome, like it was faded red by the blood of one's enemies, it was also perfect for all Rogue Races, but mostly it takes me back to the days with my Troll Rogue (yes, even trolls looked awesome).Raiding for this set was pure hell but as i rose from the ashes, as i finally stood triumphant, what followed after all my back-breaking work, blood, sweat and tears was glorious fame, fortune and the never ending horrible flow of goldbeggers!
Battlegear of Wrath. Why? Because if it looks dangerous enough to behead yourself if you sneezed, you know it's gonna hurt your enemies =)
My favourite is Bloodfang Armor with Fiery daggers from molten core...as I am a rogue...oh man...the nostalgia...<3
My favorite is the Beaststalker/Beastmaster set that you get from the long quest chain in vanilla WoW, mostly because it s the most time consuming gear that I've gotten, but also because it just looks cool.
Well, tier 12 has the best stats of course. I think the blue t12 paladin set looks freaking AWESOME!
