VI, VII, IX and X. It's hard for me to chose which one I like the most, from what I chose, but I ended up with VI. I'm just a sucker for the SNES, what can I say? I really wish I could give a more-descriptive post, but I haven't played a Final Fantasy game in so long, so my memories are quite fuzzy.

No, he doesn't.

Nope. I can edit the poll (if that were needed) but I can't see who's chosen what (nor would it be particularly appropriate for me to do so if I could).(##RESPBREAK##)8##DELIM##asakawa##DELIM##

So....American release date for FFXIII-2 is Jan 31 2012....and sometime in the next couple of weeks, I'm planning on finally picking up a PS3, and one of the first purchases is going to be FF13; along with the Star Ocean game on the PS3, Enchanted Arms and Eternal Sonata, the Tales games, probably Valkyria Chronicles, the Bleach mass war game and the newest DBZ heh.

So, did get the PS3, and have to say...I am loving FF13; yes, it's a bit on rails and I wish there was more ways to reset the enemies to get more CP, but beyond that: Great voice acting, I love the Paradigm system, as it has a call back to both Sphere Grid of FF10 and the JP Board of FF12, and the fights are quite interesting to try to get the best combos to rack up the Stagger effect.
Easily becoming one of my favorites, and still looking forward to XIII-2 next month.

There's a good point where you can run back and forth to reset the enemies for CP grinding (not sure how far you are, so don't want to give spoilers). That being said, you don't need grinding.
Re: FFXIII-2, I was 1 day from missing out on the Crystal Edition (exclusive Australian supplier sold out), so I'm waiting for Amazon to release it, or for some freak chance that it appears on the market again in a month's time.(##RESPBREAK##)8##DELIM##Squishalot##DELIM##

That being said, you don't need grinding.Oh I know, there was the one spot where I could just jump over the rubble rather then taking the long way, and jumping caused the reset. And while you don't need to grind...it's one of the ways I play the game, but yeah, pretty much after each time the Paradigm upgrades, I can unlock roughly 70% of it right away heh.

Limited or Crystal? I refused to pre-order Limited, holding out for the Crystal edition.

This one? With the soundtrack and the artbook heh
; got the collectors edition for 12 back in the day.

Bah, the Western world gets better deals :(
Just pre-ordered from the US Amazon site. It doesn't have the T-shirt that comes in the Crystal edition, but the key thing I wanted was the OST and the art book - saves me having to buy it separately.

Heh, seems that way don't it? And I'm sure you'll be able to pick up the shirt somewhere else. But whenever I can, I try to get the collector's edition's from Squareenix; they always seem to have the best stuff bundled in with them.

Absolutely. I was gutted to find that I missed the Crystal Edition by a day.
Blizzard collector's editions aren't too bad either, all things considered. SC2 was pretty decent, and D3 is looking pretty good too.

I got the annual pass, and don't plan on getting the collector's edition for D3, unless some super awesome mount is included lol.
Same goes with the strategy guides that Prima puts out; got absolutely beautiful ones with the FF12 and KH2 version I purchased; had a data catalog for KH2 listing all of the characters and showing good images of them, and the FF12 had an art book with it.

I'm man enough to admit I got goose bumps watching that
; really can't wait to see more of the 'villain', as any one who can man handle the Shiva Twins, is win in my book.
