Don't take a break...just dial it back a bit, when you go into the interactions with others, and think about who you are up against.

Well I tried to avoid making an unreasonably powerful villain, so I tried to make a weak but smart villain, have a plan from the get go and have him constantly working towards that end. But, then, the unexpected happened with the RP being extended and I didn't mind that, except my attempt to try and keep Joxans with an ongoing goal in mind didn't quite work out. The whole reason he walked into Xadmas's sanctum carrying around a bomb was to avoid the whole, he gets one shotted thing.
I don't know, it just doesn't seem worth the trouble keep up the effort to toe the line between god moding, being a credible villain, and such. I honestly didn't plan on keeping Joxans around past this RP so he's pretty much alienated everyone at this point.
I think I'm just a bit burned out from trying to plan three moves ahead all the time.
EDIT: And Adamsm, I deleted that post so just pretend it never happened.

Which, as Funden said, is where communication comes in: All through the Rp, you've just pulled things out to surprise the other RPer's without at least a warning of what was coming. I mean, I get trying to threaten Seeker and Xadmas....but considering how they feel about Joxans, did you really expect it to succeed? Like I said, they'd rather die then work for him/with him; that's just the way their characters are.
EDIT: And Adamsm, I deleted that post so just pretend it never happened.I'll edit my most recent one then.
