I think people already have gotten hurt.
Well at least for the movement here, there haven't been any major reported injuries. The protestors were just kicked out of the parks yesterday via riot squad after the protestors refused to leave before the time they were told they had to.
Then they claim there was "police brutality" and a lack of communication. As far as I can see, you're the ones disobeying the law, and no one reported any injuries. Give me a break.

Its no different then any other protests we've had around here, but a lot bigger....
As far as I've seen at least. Haven't really been paying tons of attention...

I feel the opposite. The movement is doing nothing constructive, and as such, they should be removed.

They are doing something constructive, their very presence is showing the banks for what they are.
What the mobs are or what the banks are? I'm not exactly on the banks' side, but I'm not on the side of a bunch of drugged up guys camping in tents, who could be doing more constructive things with their time.
Until they actually form a plan of action to right the wrongs, they're just being a useless waste of resources.

Poor cookies.
Yup, no one to nom them.
Also, the Occupy Wall Street movement makes no real sense to me; okay, there are a metric crap ton of people camped out on the streets of New York....which does what exactly? Since everything is automated/done online/over the phone, having people there doesn't really affect much beyond 'supposedly' showing they aren't going to take it anymore, as they can't actually go into the buildings as they will be tossed into jail for trespassing, as well as not being able to chain themselves to things since again, tossed in jail.
A sit in or the likes makes sense when you are actually disrupting business/what have you...but they aren't; people are just walking around them after all. And with it getting close to the start of winter, can't see it happening for much longer; after all, it's one thing to do this when it's nice, but it will be another when the cold drives them inside....because people getting sick/dying of exposure will just cause the pundits to make more fun of the event, rather then adding anything to it.
