What is this?

Just me witnessing more of the double standards of the world.
When a Christian or Muslim feels strongly enough about his/her beliefs they simply can't help but mention and argue them at every chance? Perfectly okay.
An Athiest does it? Yell at him, call him a self-centered retard, freak, annoying, troll, ect.

And the point of making a comment along those lines on Hyper's journal entry, when she's merely making an observation, was what exactly? Especially considering that it's known that she feels strongly about her beliefs after all: What's next? Kick in the door of a house that's saying Grace, calling them stupid, then leaving?

Generally, when a religious person starts talking about their beliefs, it's an attempt to save your soul. When an atheist person talks about theirs without prompting, it's usually to seem intelligent or look down on somebody.
At least, that's my experience.

I would be angered and disturbed if I could actually hear them saying grace.
But, I would knock and their door and ask them to stop, as it offends me greatly. As does any mention of any sort of devine being who is supposed to dictate and influence my life.

That's nice....and in the exact same frame of mind, if you did that, I'd politely, calmly, and simply tell you to...."F**k off, get the hell off my property, and get a life".

But wouldn't your asking them to stop be dictating their lives, which is something you don't like?

I'm fine with people dictating lives, dictators can actually be a very useful government figure... as long as they don't go crazy and begin mass genocides.
My problem is the dictating of lives by figures formed by human minds in an attempt to explain the previously unexplainable. As a people, we have made massive steps to moving PAST that stage of history, and yet so many people still insist on living like that.

Except that you have no empirical proof to back up your claims, leaving your "made by human minds" null and void. While it's fine that you don't believe, you have no right to force it on others.

Again, feel free to have your own opinions on things...but don't be an ass and force them down others throats, since isn't that what most Atheists say the organized religions do to them?
