Character: Richard
Location: Elwynn Forest
Richard followed the group his eyes never leaving Clayton as they walked back into Eastvale. He could still sense him as he turned Invisible.
"There has to be away to change him back?"
The paladin thought as he made his way to the stables.

JJ
Elwynn Forest, Eastvale
JJ had sat opposite to Zeke, ordering some beer. Now slowly drinking it away, he went through the events of the day in his head.
- "What was that thing actually? I have never seen anything like it?", he asked.

Character: Clayton's Phantom
Location: Elwynn Forest
"It was a dark evil," Clayton said, though this came as thoughts and not words to the them, "a powerful minion created by a sorcerer. It seemed our presence has intrigued this magic wielder, and wants us," he said.
"I could only speculate it's because of our origins," the phantom said, hovering near as he his form resembled his old self now faintly.

(( Yes; I'd say so, anyway. A body without a soul is just an empty shell, so I'd say it's dead ))

(( Hmm... for the sake of arguement and keeping things simple, I'm going to say no for this scenario ))
Character: Clayton's Phantom
Location: Elwynn Forest
The phantom merely watched the efforts. He could not aid without either risk of harm, since he did not fully control his undeath touch yet, and he must still discover what other abilities this form has granted him.
(( Kay, out for the night. ))

Jordan
Eastvale
Jordan had watched everything that happened. He was horribly shaken. He had never seen anyone get killed before. It was a massive shock. He had been paralyzed when all the fighting had gone down. He had been useless....a useless waste....
"I...should have helped....I could have helped....maybe I could have stopped everything....It would have been easy....I could have levitated the defias away...thrown them far enough away to where they wouldn't bother us....then we'd all be okay...it's all my fault.....because I didn't act...." he thought as he felt the weight of the world crash onto his shoulders.

"Clay's soft-heartedness got the better of him," Rane told Zeke. He spent all too much energy fighting the Defias, and could do nothing against the phantom - not immediately after slaughtering the bandits, not after pulling up his reserves to shrug off Clayton's attack.
"I'm not going to let myself think of Defias's families or friends. And the next time we meet them, I'll make one of them a host for Clayton's essence."
Without waiting for an answer, he wandered away to find Hyper and Logan. The sithlock was disgusted with Clayton's spinelessness - clearly, what the man thought of as his integrity and the sithlock deemed blind self-righteousness was the reason Clayton endangered his friends without shame.
"I'll fix him 'cause he's an earther," Rane decided. "And then I will drive him away from us, lest his stupidity harms anyone else of us."
The sithlock closed his eyes for a second, recalling one of the mantras.
"If you seek to aid everyone that suffers in the world, you will only weaken yourself and weaken them. It is the internal struggles, when fought and won on their own, that yield the strongest rewards. If you care for others, then dispense with pity and sacrifice and recognize the value in letting them fight their own battles," he murmured quietly. Yes, that was exactly the way he felt.

Logan
Eastvale
Logan saw Rane walking. He was half sitting, half lying against a wooden wall.
"You just missed Hype. She wandered off... somewhere... I'm feeling a little dizzy." He said. In truth, the dizzy, painful feeling he suspected as internal bleeding was nothing compared to his ripped open soul.
"Think I might be internally bleeding... bad..." He said, smiling a chuckling slightly.

"If you're worried about your soul, I can partially rid you of your concerns. If even a slightest peace of it was left inside, it will heal eventually. Not in an instant, and it will hurt, but eventually you'll be fine," Rane told Logan.
"Let's go find you a medic or something."

Logan nodded, standing up.
"I never imagined it would hurt that much. I felt like falling over and crying." He said, brushing dirt from his coat.
He walked over to Rane.

Clayton floated around the lodge, always seeing everything. He had no need for sleep now, and his companions were always busy with mortal tasks that no longer bothered him. All he could do was simply keep watch, and for now, that meant keeping an eye on the others.

Rane wanted to say something about not giving in, about turning inner turmoil into a weapon.
Instead, he growled, "That spineless cowardly bastard," clearly talking about Clayton.

Clayton could sense an energy pulsing rather irradically, uncontrolled. He wandered over, seeing it was Rane stewing in his own anger from what it appeared to himself. All he did was hover near, letting himself still be faded almost to nothing so that no mortals around the camp would see him and be frightened.

Jebby
Elwynn
Jeb wandered over to the tailor to find himself a new robe, as well as a pack. Walking inside he noticed a carpet hanging off the wall. "I'd like a new robe and a pack. And how much for the carpet?" he asked the owner. "The carpet? Eh, five gold, and another three for the robe and pack." the owner replied. "Sounds like a deal." Jeb said.
Walking outside in his brand new identical blue robe, Jebby grinned at his brilliant ideas. Enchanting the pack so it could hold far more than it appeared, he then enchanted the carpet so it could fly. "I hereby dub thee, Phil!" he told the magic carpet.
Hopping on his carpet he flew off towards the others. Oblivious to the small figure hidden in a tree.
