I have seen most of those before, but they still get a laugh...
In fairness, the whole 'which way is North?' thing really stumped me when I was in the US. I tried to use the Sun to get around, except that because they're in the Northern Hemisphere, the sun rises in the East and goes to the South in the middle of the day. It took me about two blocks before it struck me why I kept walking in the wrong direction.

where the bloody hell are you?

That pic is actually reasonably accurate, apart from the frickin lasers and maneating koalas. Also Steve Irwin is actually from further South between maneating koalas and mosquitoes, and has been dead for 5 or 6 years.
I am from Danni Minogue and currently live between Poisonous Snakes and Steve Irwin. I can verify that we also feature venomous snakes (Google/Wiki Eastern Brown Snake), razor sharp coral, cyclones (Southern Hemisphere version of hurricanes), mosquitoes the size of a man's thumbnail, and stingrays that come frighteningly close to the shore.

I don't think anyone really did, Queenslander or otherwise.

Joey did kind of carry his team

Yeah, he made superstars out of half of them too, only for them to turn to crap once he retired.

Meninga was a good player, but not the game controlling/changing player that Joey was.
To be honest though, I am a bit surprised that either of them were up already. Thought there was a lot of older era players that would have been immortalised first.
Well, if you think about it, what half, 5/8 combo do you know (current) that hasn't worked with Joey?

As far as I know, it's not based on chonology. Rather, they look at all retired league players up until the current point in time, and immortalise
the best
player, regardless of whether he retired 24 years ago or 24 hours ago. Mal will get his turn eventually, but obviously Joey was better.

As you all probably know, I'm not much of an Aussie Rules fan, but that game was damn awesome. So tense, especially the 3rd and 4th quarters.
