72 hours. Not even joking. Slept for 24-36 hours straight after that.
High school summer WoW marathon. ;)

It actually proves my point ;)
The guy who died in 2005 while playing SC played for 50 hours straight.
I think we can safely assume that 18 hours is a low number.

I sat 26 hours straight, then went to sleep, well ofc i went to the toilet and grabbed a sandwich. But only max 2- 2 and a half minut brake, max.
Well this $%^& is common for me :(

I was unemployed and on the dole for a year. 24 hours was normal. However when I bought 2 cases of energy drinks I did a 48 hour one. Not so bad when I've got dual monitor setup and watch movies and series on the other screen while I do the grind :P

I think back in vanilla I had some times where we would raid late--then I'd not sleep and keep playing to farm consumables or level an alt... then realize it was like 10AM and raid would be in a couple hours...so I'd stay up until that raid...and then suddenly it'd be 24+ hours played. It was bad =(

When I first got my main close to 80. I dunno, 77 or 78. It was my weekend, I had nothing doing. I sat there for 28 hours straight. Sure I went to the toilet, had cigarettes. At one point I walked round the corner to the 24-hour petrol station and got a chocolate bar or a meat pie or something, and a Litre of Red Bull, but I walked home before I ate or drank any of it.
I hit 80 and then had Northrend Dungeon Hero and a good chunk of gemmed and enchanted purples before I went to sleep. My sense of time was so warped after that.
Since then though, there has been plenty of 8-hour, 12-hour, 16-hour sessions, no problem. One of the many reasons I don't play anymore.

The longest session I've done was about 17 hours. Farming AV for welfare gear back in TBC, yay! But that did include breaks for toilet and eating. I doubt I've ever sat at the computer for more than maybe four hours at a go. Spending
most
of my day online, however... I'm not getting into that.

24 hours for me, back in Vanilla.
I was playing a Dwarf Paladin, Prot spec with Verigan's Fist. I played the entire day and night, and made level 30-35. That was an achievement for me, even if I was doing the Thorium Brotherhood quests the whole time.
$%^& you Thorium Brotherhood.

Hmm, way back in the time when I was still addicted, it was like 10 hours. I wasn't sick of it, but I'm glad I'm no longer addicted to this game :)

I'm believe one time I woke up around eight a.m. on a Saturday and finished playing at about one o'clock the next morning. So....17 hours? Yeah, not my proudest moment and I've never done it since! lol - - -So just curious whats the longest you have played WoW in one sitting?
Almost as long as you, woke up at 9:30am Saturday morning and I didn't go to sleep until 2am early Sunday morning.

I love British people! Top Gear on BBC America. Thats the only reason why I knew you were British when you said a petrol station.

He's an Aussie. The Brits aren't the only people who speak real English ;)
As for me, not more than 3-4 hours without getting bored and going off to do something else. Even if you're following an exciting new quest chain, eventually it finishes and leaves you with a lull in gaming enjoyment temporarily, and it's at that point that I generally switch off.
Example - I logged off a couple nights ago from my L40 alt who just finished all the Hinterlands quests. Next time I logged on, I did all of the WPL quests, and logged off after we lost Andorhal, because it's a natural break in the questing.
