Wowhead Data Tips?

So, uh.... I wasn't sure where to post this? I hope this is the right forum. If not, please forgive me.
Does anyone have any ideas how to collect more data for Wowhead? There are just certain items/mobs that do not reflect my own (non-quest) drop rates, and I really dislike other users being unnecessarily mislead. So, how do I collect more data for Wowhead, aside from the obvious Wowhead client? Or, is there a way to increase the amount of data that my client is taking in? Tips? Tricks? Trolling? Criticisms?
Thanks in advance. I look forward to your responses.

Your drop-rates are less predictive of the overall drop-rate than the data of multiple people put together, barring some sort of bug or hack. No one is being misled.

After looting something, I believe you type /wl_collect, and it will collect data right there.
Also, this would be best in Site Feedback. A mod should move it there.

I was wondering the same... but it's more like "McKizz Feedback" than site feedback. Wherever the Mods decide I'll support. :-P
@Hyperspace: Wowhead said that a particular mob would drop a particular item 50% of the time. I farmed for 30 minutes and got a 5-10% drop rate. While agree with you that, statistically, more data leads to more accurate numbers, there are also outliers (like myself) which reflect other data.

All problems with the client or the site are moved to Feedback.

There is no "other data." An average is an average. I'm sure some people got close to 100% drop rate. I mean, it's great if you want to gather data, I'm just saying that your data in a vacuum is less meaningful.

But my data isn't in a vacuum. My data will aide the average. The numbers don't lie, right? I'm not so selfish as to think that my numbers are the only numbers that exist. ;-) My experience may indeed be rare. That doesn't change the fact that I want to contribute my numbers to the greater whole. Sharing is caring.

Thanks Funden. That's what I was looking for.

"...Unnecessarily mislead" is what I'm taking issue with. Not your desire to contribute.
Wowhead data is not misleading, again barring some bug, patch, or hack. And if you suspect something like that with regard to a certain item, reporting it as an issue would be more efficient and do more to fix it than just uploading more data to get swallowed up.

The desire to upload and collect more data is independent of the example I gave you. Maybe I didn't represent that very well in my original post.
I'll go back to what I said before, and that's the last I will respond to you Hyperspace.

Again, I don't take issue with that. I take issue with the belief that Wowhead data is misleading people.

I am afraid
/wl collect
will do nothing of import, if I understand the client correctly. It will collect your character's personal information - mounts, pets, titles, professions, and so on. It would be nice if you could search for pages - or items, rather - with a relatively little data. I'll pass the idea along and move the thread to Site Feedback.
