Lots of life. Try the trial. If you like it, buy it. We can't decide if you think it's worth it.

well im more asking if as soon i start playing all the player flood to another game or is that not likely to do it?
Not likely. Blizzard has more people that join every day. It also has publicity and an established player base. I doubt any game will "kill" WoW soon.

Cataclysm has just started and right now a big patch (update) is underway. So I would say they probably stay a while longer.

No.
Terrible community
Grindy gameplay
Game is in terminal decline
Bad customer service
If you do not play this game now and are not committed to it, there is no reason to pick it up.
My advice? Download the trial and give it a whirl. For every Aestu, there is a Pollyanna such as myself.
It's a great game with wonderful people, awesome quests, fabulous new stuff all the time, and incredibly helpful customer service.

Ok so my question for you today is. Is it worth joining and starting World of Warcraft now.
No.

Which begs the question, if you hate the game and the company so much, why are you still paying Blizzard for the privilege of playing a flawed game?

Not everyone are @#$%^&bags and such, or am I the only one who has a nice guild?
Grindy gameplay
At this point I have only leveled to 25 but that was not so grindy, Aetsu go play Maple Story and your view will be diffrent on grind.

I started playing late late wrath and I have had a great time.
So my answer has too be, download the trial give it a shot and see what you think.

@ the OP. The first rule of Wowhead is never listen to a thing Aestu ever says. He is a perennial hater with nothing worthwhile to say.

What a load of crap. Every word of it.
Secondly, the game is not dying anytime soon. It has around 12 million players, they aren't going to disappear overnight. There's at least a few years life in it.
The only thing that's going to kill WoW is WoW2.
This. No MMO is ever going to kill WoW. Match it's popularity? Definitely possible. Steal its entire market? No, that's absurd.

You should probably not start playing WoW because of the following reasons (partially kidding here ;)):
- If you start playing you will get addicted.
- It will take you at least six years, the loss of 3 girl-friends and an unfinished university degree until you manage to get back into real life because it is so addictive.
- The whole trip will cost you 14.99 * 12 * 6 + 70 bucks = 1079.28$ which you could have spent on something else (charity?).
On the other hand, if you already are already addicted to games: Go ahead and enjoy the game! :)
