Definitely get Fluid Death. You can always reforge excess hit to crit.

Much in the same boat as you, I went for Fluid Death. It's the BIS 359 trinket, afaik, better than the raid drops. I too replaced the key with it.
Wish Tia's Grace would drop for me... I've never seen it, and been in that dungeon dozens of time :(

I'd suggest Trinket > Cloak > Ring > Chest > Gloves > Legs
Trinket Fluid Death is BiS as others have suggested. Here's a quick
list
of upgrades I used when I started raiding.
There's Two epic chests that drop off two of the the first three bosses of BWD. First few bosses also drop a ring and cloak. You can get the Mt Hyjal rep ring as your 2ndary ring. Gloves and Legs drop from BH as well, so there's always there for luck. Magmaw drops a set of leggings as well.
Get the pieces that ONLY drop off end game raid bosses or the ones that are difficult to get to. Assuming you'll eventually raid a bit, there's a certain order of upgrades you can aim for with VP. The ones at the end of the list have multiple options to get.

Always without fail buy the Chest first.
On the basis that its the best piece of gear you will own when you get the heroic version, and the fact that you can loot your second, and potentially third piece to contribute towards your (#) Set: Bonus from Baradins Hold.
Then Cloak.
Then Ring.
Don't bother with the trinket as the Baradins Wardens, Halfus AND Atramedes trinkets are all considerably better, not to mention the Alchemy one if that's your thing.
EDIT: Just seen you bought the Trinket, erm...sorry xD

Tia's Grace is an awesome trinket (better than Unsolvable Riddle)
Hmm.
Tia's Grace
Unsolvable Riddle
For 5 man bosses and trash, maybe so, slightly.
For raiding definately not.
EDIT: Actually I don't know, you've got a bloody good point there mate, a bloody good point... *strokes non-existant beard* I'll move this up to its own thread so someone who knows how to do these things properly can tell me

Always without fail buy the Chest first.
Voltage Source Chestguard
and
Tunic of Failed Experiments
Drop off BWD Omnitron and Maloriak. If you are really desparate for an epic you can get the crafted one
Dragonkiller Tunic
pretty cheap.
The T11 chest
Lightning-Charged Tunic
is actually one of the worst pieces for our T11.
And
Tia's Grace
>
Unsolvable Riddle

>
Unsolvable Riddle
On the basis that the vast majority of players won't be fortunate enough to gain both Legs + Hands from Baradins Hold within say, 4 weeks, and won't be downing Cho'Gall AND Nefarion in, i dunno lets say 4 weeks aswell, on top of the fact that those items have low droprates and even then need to be rolled on with your piers, and in addition to the fact that you will of amassed enough VP by this point to buy the lot anyway i would say
Lightning-Charged Tunic
although strictly speaking being weak, is still a very worth purchase if you want your T11 set bonus, which if you have means you can afford to forge a pretty damn huge wack of haste off stuff and add crit on thus giving you a considerably higher dps output altogether.
On another note...
After using both trinkets earlier, contrary to what is stated above, when
Unsolvable Riddle
is macroed (sp) onto
so that it engages pretty much instantaneously every 2 minutes with the added bonus of raidbuffs, LnL and various other limited buffs (wether they proc or not) the overall DPS output is MASSIVELY improved over using
Tia's Grace
. Thats not to say that either item is better, but i would suggest using
Tia's Grace
for 5 mans or mob heavy area's and
Unsolvable Riddle
for raids throughout.
Thats the exact opposite way of using an On Use trinket. The benefit of On Use is being able to stack it with raid buffs as you said earlier like
or
Heroism
to multiply the effect. Using it on cooldown as you say with no regard for burn phases or cooldown usage is netting you less Agility than using
Tia's Grace
full time. No benefit whatsoever.
After even more testing this evening, when i use
Unsolvable Riddle
in this manner i do a burst of an additional 3-5k dps for 20 seconds or so, meaning the overall
damage dealt
over *any* period of time, especially if over 2 minutes is higher than using
Tia's Grace
And if were gonna be arsey about it the best trinket combination regardless of that is
Prestor's Talisman of Machination
+
Essence of the Cyclone

If you are going for your 4P T11 bonus, it's going to take you much more than 4 weeks. Even if you buy the chest somehow your first week, you're still no where near the 4 piece set bonus. That's why I suggested getting the other VP purchases first:
I'd suggest Trinket > Cloak > Ring > Chest > Gloves > Legs
Chest should by no means be your first purchase. You'd have a much higher chance of scoring a chest from BWD than getting even close to your 4P T11 bonus. Feel free to buy it after you've geared up your trinkets, cloak, and ring though.
