I've wanted to read... I think it was called... "The Dark Cowl" where Batman has died and everyone is fighting for it.Battle for the Cowl.
And House of M, I haven't read that one yet but I do love me X-Men.Which is several dozen books worth of things to read.

I don't really have many physical comics, except for a He-Man one packed away (At least I think it was a comic. Either way its really old and I haven't seen it in years), but I do have a collection of online comics I read.
D&D based:
The Order of the Stick (OotS)
Stick figure comic that's not horrible looking, and hilarious.
Goblins: Life in Their Eyes
Comic following the trials of a clan of goblins, currently split into three story arcs, pretty decent comic.
Planescape Metamorphosis
For all you Planescape: Torment fans, this ones set into the Planescape Universe. Sadly, no one from the game is in there, but many of the terms used within should seem familiar to one who's played the game. The sites currently down, the author is slow to update due to real life issues, and the arts not the "best" but I think its worth a read.
WoW based:
Dark Legacy Comics
Follows the trials of the characters in the guild Dark Legacy. I don't really have to say this, but its worth reading.
World of Warcraft, Eh?
Follows the trials of a Tauren Druid named Cadistra and a Blood Elf Paladin named Kissless.
Misc:
Questionable Content
I forgot why I still read this but its pretty good still.
Looking For Group
Comic that incorporates many RPG and MMO game elements and pokes fun at them. Also, Richard.

I haven't read that many comics, but I know that my favorite written work of all time is definitely
Watchmen
. Everything about it is just so...so perfect.
I can't really pick a "favorite superhero", really. I can say that my favorite DC character is Batman, and my favorite Marvel character is either Iron Man or Deadpool.

Captain America: Who Will Wield the Shield?
Was one of my favorite Marvel one-shots recently. Rogers returns to find Barnes as Captain America, and the big question was would he go back to being the real Captain America or leave it to Barnes.

Did you ever watch the pilot? It was some cool stuff and I think it had potential.
Wanna know why it never made it past that? CEO's wife wanted Gossip Girl.

I agree....but being able to summon zombie versions of Sharks, Giant Squids and Killer Whales just take it to a whole 'nother level of pure bad assery.

Hey HSR, you don't have to answer in the
topic
itself, but who would you choose for the win there?

Ew, that was back before I learned to capitalize.

I'd have to say Darkseid. I mean, he's technically immortal. And a god. I really doubt any single one of those others could do much.

Well, except he is dead now heh. Lobo is something special as well; as he was powering the DCU version of Hell for who knows how long. And the Manhunter kicked some major ass when he first was raised up at the start of Blackest Night....and so did the dead Superman..../sigh Too many super powered beings of the DC that can do good fights, but when they are on Earth, they can't cut loose.
Oh, and because I love this fight and the speech that goes with it:
Legacy Part 2
for the original Superman TAS, and the
rematch from JLU
.

Well, except he is dead now heh.
Which is why I said
technically
. But the fact that he pretty much took all reality with him when he "died," just goes to show how powerful he was.

Heh, true true. And the DC universe needs to either come back with Batman Beyond or pick up a new Superman/Batman animated series.....
