I get the feeling that this thread has run its course.
I was playing in the beginning, the mood all changed
I been chewed up, and spit out, and booed off stage
Sums it up.

Please read my initial post it has to do with ANY and ALL nerfs, I have only one 85 and this was the example I chose to use to illustrate how Blizz invalidates the time and effort it's customers put into toons, when Blizz decides to nerf something after the fact.
Any nerf needs to be compensated.
New gear is not a nerf.
Retroactive changes are nerfs that need to be compensated with appropriate IN GAME items (Gold).
If the enchant had of been +40 the entire time I would have kept a 2 Handed staff that dropped for me instead of D/Eing it.
Should I have to run the instance time and time again until it drops the same staff?
I play this game for fun and to improve my toon, not to run the same instance over and over just to make up for the items Blizz decides to nerf.
You started playing in Wrath didn't you?

I am not indifferent to the balance in the game.
I just think that when Blizz changed EXISTING gear/talents that players have spent HOURS to optimize, Blizz should acknowledge it is invalidating much of the time and effort put in by those players and should offer those affected some in game compensation (Gold).
Roll a toon on Emerald Dream and I'll hook you up, Merlin. kk?
/end thread?

No I made gear and enchant choices based on the respective values published at the time.
Yes, because a capless stat that is in fact your best stat will decrease in value now, am I right?

Do I keep having to post Eminem lyrics until this is locked?
Seriously though;
You lost 60 int. Go and run one dungeon for a staff. Or a raid. Or don't even bother, because the loss is minimal.

Those of us who have responded to this have repeatedly said the same thing, which you seem to fail to understand, is that by the terms of use
gameplay may change
. One of the things that changes with gameplay is the items used in the game.
The contracted issue is to provide the gameplay, not to provided an item in the game and once provided maintain the item as originally provided.
I also work in customer service and understand the idea of providing "what the customer wants", provided what they want is not out of line with the contracted deliverables.
