As of right now, i can do around 16k bymyself on a raid target dummy. The thing to stack would be mastery and agility. The improved mastery for MM hunters is really good and it usually does most of my damage on a fight (im really unsure how but it does). I am using aimed shot in my rotation without the proc. It brought my dps quite alot, but it is important to only use it if you have the Improved Steady Shot up. So my rotation goes like this: MD+Aimed Shot+Chimera Shot+2xSteady Shot+Serpent Sting+Steady Shot until Chimera CD is up+2xSteady Shot+Aimed Shot+2xSteady Shot+Chimera Shot....and so on. You should have Improved Steady Shot up at all times.
You can use rapid fire whenever you think is a viable time in the fight. I personally use it, then hit readiness and use it again. While under the affect of rapid fire, i only use steady shot and aimed shot since the cast time on aimed shot is fairly quick now and it hits like a truck. When rapid fire fades, i re apply my serpent sting and continue the regular rotation.
I would use the glyph of rapid fire over the arcane shot glyph because of aspect of the fox. You will do more damage moving and shooting steady shots then you would getting that extra AP with aspect of the hawk on a moving fight. It is VERY helpful on mechanic-oriented fights with high mobility.

Most of that is contradictory to what I've been reading on EJ and what I've experienced myself.
I haven't seen many instances where you would want to stack or reforge to Mastery. Mastery should generally be reforged to haste or crit. I think the only time I've seen people reforging for Mastery is when they have 4pc T-11, and i think the benefits of that are still debatable.
If you do not have 4pc T-11, it appears you want somewhere b/t 7-10% haste with closer to 10% being ideal. If you do have the 4pc T-11 you can either use much less haste (this is where reforging for some Mastery could potentially be an option, but i don't know) or you can go for 11%+ haste which allows you to get in an extra shot at the risk of letting your SrS fall off if you aren't fast enough. I don't have 4pc T11 so I'm not clear on the details here.
Glyphs are Steady + Aimed + Rapid Fire.
The fight is then broken down into three phases and you will be using a different "rotation" in each.
1)100-80% - You DO NOT want to be using SrS or CS during the Careful Aim phase. Your rotation here will consist solely of AiS and SS. You want to pre-pot and use both of your RFs back to back here. Your rotation is going to be sets of 2-3 SS followed by 1-2 AiS. Available focus and duration left on your ISS buff are the factors that will determine which shots are fired when.
2) 80-20% - Here you want to keep SrS up on your target and add CS back into your rotation. You do not have to use CS every time it's off CD, just frequently enough to keep SrS up. Managing your ISS and your SrS are the keys here. You don't want to let either fall off so you need to consider that when deciding whether or not to cast an Aimed Shot.
3) 20-0% - Kill Shot gets worked into the rotation. You will probably lose a SS fitting this into the cycle, but Termination will help make up for the focus loss.
Anyway, that's just a rough guideline. I 'm not claiming everything is 100% correct, nor that it will work best for you. Results are likely to vary depending on your haste, player speed, and latency.
