1) Mastery till the cows come home. It makes a hell of a differenace end game with the block chance you have coupled with Shield Block, You'll get a nice amount of +Critical Block chance.
2) It's really not a useless Trinket. I use it over my Stamina Trinkets. But I use the Worm and Mirror.
3) 6-8% is fine. In 10 man you'll probably find you'll need to interupt on Nefarion.

1) mastery. you need stamina, but in my limited raiding experience this xpac, whatever you have on your gear is enough to keep you alive for many boss swings. mastery will lighten the load on your healer, which seems much more important so far.
2) useless "use"? it's a super-fantastic use, is what it is. resist is like armor for magic - use it and love it. on some fights i will throw on stam trinkets, but only if there a big, unavoidable burst coming that i know i'll need them for.
3) aim for zero. sounds strange, but the more hit you have, the less survivability stats you have. every bit of hit or expertise on my gear is reforged to mastery when possible and parry when it already has mastery.
i think you got it backward atm. the thing about threat is more threat is very valuable when you're not doing enough and very useless when you are. once you stop threat-capping your raid, more hit has zero value. so far, it's been very easy to generate enough threat with almost no hit and very little expertise, so there's no reason to try and get more.

I'll say all the same things. Gem Parry/Mastery in reds, Straight Mastery in Yellow, and Mastery/Stamina in blues. Mirror is a kick ass trinket, huge spell damage reduction for 10 seconds every 60 seconds. I use Mirror and Tia's Grace. There's no better avoidance trinket besides Tia's Grace right now. I've passed on stamina trinkets multiple times already.
As for hit, reforge everything to mastery and avoidance. I was at 0.49% hit and 3 expertise. I just got Tier Helm and Rage of Ages, so I'm up to 1.7% hit now, reforged as much off as I could.

Unlucky for me i'm still a designated 'kicker' within my 10 man so i need the damn hit.

Well, luckily those mobs are only level 85 so you need 5% hit to never miss. Best bet would be to just swap on the +hit crafted shield

and maybe a +hit trinket
License to Slay
and call it good. Those two items alone would put you at just under 4% hit.

Thanks for pointing that out. I always thought they were level 87-88 But now thinking about it i do recall them lowering the level of them in the patch notes somewhere or maybe i'm imagining it.
