int > everything (including hit)
best not to post advice unless you have a accurate and trusted source for the info since it's misleading to those who can't tell the difference between affable speculation and valuable accurate advice.
hit being the most important stat has not been the case since the level cap increase.

um, time to take a deep breath and count to ten.
you haven't received any angry or flame comments.
you're mistaken and have been corrected fairly politely. if you want to discuss the reasons why you're wrong then we can do that like adults if you'd like but your current attitude won't make posting here much fun for you.
if you want to see some accurate info on stat weights
this link
will give stat weights for various specs and gear points. you'll notice int is significantly stronger in every row.

I'll give you the simple version
Spellpower is now effectively Int. 1 int = 1sp and a small portion of crit and some mana. So int is worth more then sp was in wrath. Since the level cap raise, most of the stats are worth less percentage to the category they contribute to. Hit cap used to be 451 (i think) for casters, and now its like 1751, meaning its about worth a quarter of the value it had in Wrath, while Int (the new SP) got slightly better.
Reforge to hit all you want, Int isn't a secondary stat, but enchants and gems? Unless your a interrupt bot in raids, you'll get a dps increase by going int. Math is power, mright?
Edit: Asakawa beat me to it >_>
Nice to know some things never change ^_^
Edit 2: Not to mention the fact that mastery isn't that good for aff, unless your drain spec, and Mastery for demo just got buffed so.... not sure what you were trying to say at all.

Wow asakawa, you had less characters in your actual post then what it takes to put up a post! That's amazing.
On a more serious note,
Affliction:
Hit Rating > Intelligence > Mastery > Haste > Crit
Demonology:
Hit Rating > Intelligence > Haste > Crit > Mastery
I'm going to go ahead and call this a troll which is why i'm assuming asakawa gave you a one word, blatant answer. Intelligence? try intellect, and you should probably consider actually learning about the game before poorly attempting to troll a good post.
Just because their point of view is different doesn't mean said person is a troll.
Jesus christ, do people even know what a forum troll is anymore? It's like it's become some sort of lame insult at this point.

@ Dottey
If your talking about drain life for health regen its a fixed percentage based return, so haste. Mastery only effects the damage done by the drain life.
And a friendly suggestion, it seems that you are focusing on the pvp side of these changes, specify that would cut down some confusion. Most of the concern/discussion of this patch has been about pve. In regards to hit and pvp, its pretty hard to not get to the 4% hit cap, and seeing how reforging doesn't deal with primary stats, its not really an issue.
As far as I know EJ is working on the numbers for 4.0.6 for PVE, but I can't think of any site (or how they would do it) that provides numbers for pvp. Arena junkies is usually the go to place for heavy pvp related discussions.
Edit(s): Clarity and linked the soul burned version of drain life, oops

Neither will give you more health, both SiLi and Drain Life return a static percentage of your HP. If anything can even possibly give you "more" HP it would be haste because it allows for more/faster ticks of corruption or drain life. The best stat for increasing Affliction's health regen is stamina.

Mana drain was nerfed to useless practically so again not a significant loss.
Um, have you actually pvp'ed this expansion? (Hint: that was a rhetorical question) With healers having no unlimited mana anymore (which they had in WotLK), stealing mana was more OP than ever. Why else would they remove it do you think?
I got to 85 after the incoming drain mana was announced, so I didn't use it myself, just to already get used to not having it.
Regarding haste vs mastery, I'm skimming through forums myself. I know gemming is all about stacking resi atm.

Well LookOut...
I happen to be a Justicar and of the Alliance title holder and shake out thus far in the 1900's in Arena's. and nearing my Blood Thirsty title. Why make assumptions fool?
I used Drain Mana at key points but it certainly was not a game changer in BG or PVP like it was so long ago. Infact I have seen Druids and Pali's and Priests heal quite bit with hardly any mana with me still draining them...
So whats better spam for the kill do you think? Drain mana or lock em up with a fear?
I do not even want to know your answer I am sure it will be quite retarded. Locks can't even drain a Holy Pali or Resto Shammy these days, you get better mana drain out them by forcing purges and heals... Forget draining druids... Thats insanity.
But lets get back on Topic I posted in this thread for the sake of Curiousity regarding whats wiser to stack for health gen in PVP.
Mastery or Haste? Thus far all I can mostly get to this question is some fair whether insult with nothing concrete to the simple question of what should hold priority in PVP oriented Warlock Players.
One guys conclusion s the same as mine thus far. Haste. But I would like some numbers and I have been looking for them.
Justicar just means you have time to grind pvping, doesn't necessarily mean you know what you're doing.
Trade pugs on my server get of the Alliance.
1900 isn't very high.
If you've been pvping regularly for a few years and weren't close i'd definitely call you a bad.
Try playing on a drain team (aff/disc) before you knock it, especially with how hard up healers are for mana currently.
Lastly, there's no debate for pvp gemming IF you are going for health gen: haste.
Mastery only increases damage, it does NOT increase how much SiLi and DL heal you, whereas haste gives more ticks which do heal you.

I'm actually wondering if you've pvped in cata, seeing as you think we can't oom healers. Unless of course, you think that draining means all you do is hit drain mana.....
Also, again, MASTERY INCREASES DAMAGE, NOT HEALING.
Haste just increases damage as well, it just gives you more ticks which is how it increases your health.
