Why on earth would you make that macro instead of just hitting Berserk and spamming your Mangle keybind...

cause mangle is on the same button as maul ;)
That seems pretty bad to me. But then again I don't keybind ...
For me, Berserk, Maul and Mangle are all very close to each other on my bars.

Having mangle on the same button as maul seems pretty bad to me. But then I don't keybind, so I wouldn't know.

Yeah, very bad idea. Use three keybinds.

Just woke my bear out of his 3 year hibernation since the Cataclysm. Has been fun moving in, revamping the UI and macros, and getting a feel for him again. Here's what I'm doing so far. Would love to here how it compares to those who've bear tanked more in WoD.
I macro'd Mangle with Berserk. Had read that it wouldn't work because they shared a GCD, but that must have changed because I tried it and it works. Not on my toon right now, but I believe it's something like...
#showtooltip
/cast Berserk
/cast Mangle
So I can spam it and use Berserk every time it's off CD.
I also macro'd Wild Charge to Typhoon, so I charge in and daze a group of adds:
#showtooltip
/cast Wild Charge
/cast Typhoon
Again, this seems to be working.
I hot-keyed Ursol's Vortex to the same mouse button I use for Defile on my DK, so I can drop that on the group without thinking too much about it. Still wondering whether to do that before or after I charge?
The glyphs seem very lack-luster, but I glyphed Faerie Fire for the ranged silence I'm used to having with Strangulate. Combined with my Tauren stomp and Skull Bash, that gives me lots of options with casters.
What I'd like to focus on next is collecting my defensive CDs into just a couple of 'oh sh-t' buttons, one proactive and one reactive. That has worked well for me on my DK, although I have to tweak them occasionally for particular fights, of course.
Any thoughts?

Currently Berserk does not cause a GCD. I can't remember if it used to at some point.
Personally, I wouldn't like not being explicitly in control of when Berserk happens. I would be very upset if I were forced to move out of melee range while Berserk was up after the macro had activated it. Also, there are definitely times where it's advantageous to hold the cooldown. For example, on Xhul'horac: I don't use my first Berserk until all three of the main adds are up to get the most out of it.
The alternative to macroing spells together (which I pretty much never support ), is to pick an addon like Weak Auras or TellMeWhen and make a visible and possibly slightly annoying indicator when you are in combat and that spell is available.
Charge + Typhoon: I would also dislike that because usually when I'm charging to something it's because I want to be in melee range of it. If I charged and then knocked them back, that would be bad. Also, if you stacked the spells, because Charge isn't on the GCD, I wonder if you might sometimes see the typhoon miss the mobs because the spell activated at the beginning of the charge and not the end.
If you drop a Vortex on the mobs you're charging to, and you have Typhoon bound with Charge, then you're going to knock them out of it and then they'll be gripped back in. Kind of strange.
The glyphs are: Fae Silence, Stampeding Roar and Rebirth (though, technically those latter two are only mandatory for me because I raid, really). Fae Silence is swapped out for Survival Instincts when the mechanics of a fight require it.
As for defensive cooldowns, I have individual bindings for: Barkskin, Cenarion Ward, Survival Instincts, Savage Defense and Frenzied Regeneration. I'll leave it at that
:D
