Yeah, basically what zeek said. It has been argued, however, that going above 5%(hit cap for special attacks) isnt worth it as the only spell you cast is HB. You'd be better of reforging that stuff to mastery, which is godsend for dw frost.

DnD is only for aoe(who gears for that?) and you dont DC that often. Sure, its still useful to have the hit, but...

Every single multi-add fight? Were I playing DW Frost MS, I'd go for spell-hit cap with Virulence.
5% apocalypsa mentioned is the same 8% i was referring to, u basically need 600 hit rating. 120 hit rating give 1% hit chance at level 85 equating 5% and the additional 3% from the talent.
What apoc and I are discussing is spell hit cap, not melee hit cap.

Mind Freeze uses spell hit. So you realise while you might think your RP-free interrupts are the best thing ever, they can still miss with just the 5% hit softcap.
Kind of gives the edge back to Unholy.

Spell hit requires 17 %, virulence provides 9%. Im not sure if there are still +hit effects, but I dont think so, so that leaves 3%. 600 rating is about 5.85 spell hit, so youre still 2.15 hit chance short of the spell hit cap then. What I was arguing is that that isnt worth gearing for.
Dual Wield
Strength > Hit to cap >= Expertise to cap > Mastery > Crit > Haste > Agility > Hit to spell cap
Two Hand
Strength > Hit to cap >= Expertise to cap > Haste > Mastery > Crit > Agility > Hit to spell cap
Oh, and interrupts can't miss.

I read it here,
http://www.wowhead.com/forums&topic=179102&p=2469243
and assumed it also goes for dk interrupts.

Yeah but even with 0% +hit, shield bash and pummel still always hit.
Still, no need to gear to always hit on interrupts...
