(since she was slated to be his consort).
......Wut?
You're saying, she's the consort to someone she has no recorded instance of ever meeting besides perhaps on the battlefield where she lost to his demons?
...okayyyy
I still believe The Rising of Nazt'jar (sp?)will be an expansion in it's own right, because it's the remains of the Maelstrom

People I would like to kill in future xpacs:
-Sargeras
-Gul'Dan (through caverns of time)
-Whoever's leading the Infinite Dragonflight
-Kil'Jaedan
-The Nightmare Lord--blanking on his name (the Emerald Nightmare's gonna come back... I just know it)
People I want to align w/ in future xpacs:
-Naga for Alliance and murlocs for the Horde
-Pandaren, for a first of one race belonging to 2 factions
-Jaina Proudmoore... join us in the Horde!
-Thrall better take his former position back...
And as a side note about the whole Argus thing... wasn't that overran by demons? I mean... that'd be closer to a Hellfire Peninsula thing then say, Nagrand, which I heard suggested. Not that I think it's a bad idea, I would love to go to Argus... and assist the Sha'tar once again, for that matter (really didn't go much into that in BC).
Oh... and yes, I agree... we need to do more w/ the Old Gods.
Finally... if they are closing it at lv 100, then I at least hope from now on that they go... say 1/2 a level per xpac ;)

More then likely the next expansion will be Queen Massive Juggies and her Snake people, with the rising of Naj'zatar out of the Maelstrom.
After that, we'll have to wait and see; but with:
2-3 Old Ones
the missing Azeroth expedition
the Screaming Legions of Death and Destruction
the final showdown between Master and Apprentice
and the ultimate goal of the Titans to come
Even if Blizzard caps the expansion levels at 100, still a lot out there.

World of Warcraft: The Origin
(Play Warcraft I-III in MMO fashion)

Interest
World of Warcraft: The Maelstrom
(Queen Azshara and an Old God)
World of Warcraft: Sargeras' Tomb
(Guldan and an image of Xoroth)
World of Warcraft: Argus and the Army of the Light
(Sargeras and Kil'jaedin)
I'd really like it if Broxigar was somehow involved in the Sargeras fight, even though he's dead. Just cause he's awesome.
If Turalyon and Alleria aren't there, I'll be pissed
Queen Azshara is going to be a raid boss in Cataclysm.
Sargeras' Tomb is obviously going to be explored if Azshara is going to be a boss (the two are pretty much conjoined at the hip. Play the campaigns)
The last one sounds like one I would definitely like to play. Obviously a "Mystery of the Planes" or Sargeras-related expansion would (hopefully) reveal the fate of that pair...I hope they lived.
FYI Azshara never fought during the War of the Ancients.
Which is why right at the end she fought with Malfurion and that caused the Maelstrom to happen (among other things)
Amiright?

Queen Azshara is going to be a raid boss in Cataclysm.Source?
Prior to the release of World of Warcraft: Cataclysm, in the Q&A section of the "World of Warcraft Raids and Dungeons" panel at the 2009 Blizzcon convention, game designer Tom Chilton confirmed that appearances by Queen Azshara and the city of Nazjatar were not intended to be part of the expansion, although her Naga would make an appearance in the new leveling zone, Vashj'ir.

Aye, she's not in Cata beyond the few references/quests, she won't be a boss.
