Tankadins- Eye for an eye?

Howdy, since my last topic, which unfortunately turned into a gigantic trollfest (
http://www.wowhead.com/forums&topic=176609
), I've leveled from 60 to 74 and have been having success tanking and have really been enjoying it.
I was just wondering why I see many tankadins taking Improved judgement instead of Eye for an Eye, which seems like a perfect talent for a tankadin. Am I really the only one who thinks it more logical to have a 40% chance to deal 30% damage back to attackers rather than +20 yds to range of judgement?

I've gone for Improved Judgements merely so I can use it as a pulling tool.
A great example, although fairly old-content-ish, would be if you're tanking the adds for LK. As drudge ghouls run from the LK over to the ranged/healer it's yet another tool to turn their attention towards yourself. In that circumstance it's greater...
Since tanking Cata heroics, I've actually been thinking about EfaE for threat and come to the conclusion that, even though it's a relatively high chance for some reflective damage given the amount of magical damage that is taken, the amount of damage it'll
potentially
do is by far outweighed by my play-style and pulling-nesses when spec'd into the extra range on judgements.
Did any of that make sense?

TL;DR
Toss coin, heads imp judgements. Tails eye for eye
Play with it, if you like it stay if you don't spend the whole 3 quests worth of gold and jump the fence to the other side and see what the grass is like.
In the end if comes down to your play style, neither is mandatory.
*edit*
Sorry about the rubbish english, half asleep

Aye, I basically use the 2 talent points as a tool in order to get Rule of Law... That's in both my tank specs for threat and survivability.
Also if you decide to click my armoury link at the bottom then ignore the glyphs on 2nd spec, they're kinda screwed from me playing around and stuff.
Damnit, shoulda put a TL;DR in there but meh... You're half asleep and I'm half-cut from having to go back to work today (yes stupid company makes me work between Xmas and NYE) and have been pub lunch... sigh face.
Here's the TL;DR -
Ignore this and read Slasher's post.

I pick up Eye for an Eye because I rarely have use for Judgement at range. If something's already that far away, I'm using shield toss, taunt, or Righteous Defense. I've even side-stepped to ranged mobs just to hit'em with a Holy Wrath and/or put them in HotR range. Judgement's never been big damage or threat for us, so I just take the passive talent over it, since plenty of Cata mobs deal nothing but spell damage.

Last 2 posts are my thoughts exactly. I thought most people would use Avenger's Shield to pull, not judgement. I was just really confused because I had thought that NOBODY takes Eye for an Eye due to my looking through tank builds across a number of tankadins and seeing nobody with it!
Thanks for the input though, I just wanted to make sure I wouldn't be getting any strange looks should I take Eye for an Eye at later levels :D

I have been running Eye for an Eye more of late. I do find it useful. The issue, I guess, is that neither Eye for an Eye nor Improved Judgements is a deal breaker. I found I used Improved Judgements more in PvP than PvE, though on occasion it helped for an extra aggro grabber. I guess I am rambling. It's a personal preference and I don't think anyone will crucify you for running Eye for an Eye in your spec.
