Hey, can't he role a dual wielding hunter?
Maybe he won't be at the top DPSing, but for sure he will do something different that the majority. Maybe even be more prepared for some situations that the guys in two-handed-mega-weapons never thought about.
Also, Chefen, the link for the Ravening Slicer is broken.

Hello, I'm a dual wielding hunter.
Stopped reading there. Equip a real weapon, such as a Polearm or Staff, enchant it with +130 Agility, and tightly grip it for the rest of your days. Sadly, there's little point to be a dual wielding Hunter anymore, and you're only casting yourself in a poor light by dual wielding.
Well, for the PvP front it's actually quite a good idea to do so for a couple reasons.
1. Being disarmed won't prevent you from using Deterrence. Yes, I did confirm that while dual wielding, being disarmed does not lock it out.
2. Weapon chain. A weapon chain on a 2h means you're losing out on some extra enchant stats (and using a weapon chain is mandatory as a melee or Hunter in PvP).
3. (Sarcasm, obviously) My sig demonstrates that Blizzard wants us dual wielding. Lololol (Seriously I'm kidding).
But for PvE. Yes, use a 2H. The enchants on a 2-handed weapon are far superior than dual wielding and using 1H weapon enchants.
E: Based on the profile he has up, I think he's looking into going into PvP. Can't be too sure.
To conclude, stop jumping on posts Lanath. Will you ever learn?

Can't he play the wrong way?
Can't he be "cooler"?
I don't know, I play with a two-handed weapon. But it will be awesome to find strenghts in dual-wielding too.

No, what you did was you said "stopped reading there" essentially acting extremely snide. You've done this multiple times and refuse to see that you do.
You're really starting to bring this board down.
You put the words right into my mouth. You are indeed starting to bring this board down, Lanath.

Yes, but you could have put it in a much nicer tone.
For instance, you could have instead chosen to say.
For PvE dual wielding 1-handed weapons isn't quite as competitive as using a 2-handed weapon. This is because the raw stats a 2-handed weapon grants, as well as the enchants available for it contribute more to a Hunter's damage output.

Well I wasn't aware everyone had to say things exactly as you would, Interest. I guess that in your dream world, you're the only poster who actually posts on these boards, with a robotic personality, so that not only you can reply to every thread, but also sleep easy at night knowing everyones posting meets your standards.
Nope, I just prefer a community of nice users. Makes the world go around and all that.

*Sigh*
I need to put this in my signature somehow:
It's blatantly obvious to about everyone when someone is trolling. When you reply, you feed the troll, then they won't go away. I know the strong desire to reply, point out that they're wrong, but that won't solve anything, in fact, it'll make it worse.
Ignore them, and their hunger drive them to other hunting grounds.
Yes, the thing is I want everyone to see him as the troll he is, and that includes the moderators, who haven't been doing anything on class forums in general lately... I think I've done about enough, so I've gone towards ignoring most of his posts. Hopefully everyone else will move to do the same.
