4:th day now, without any hear from WoW support, I'm hoping on help from the community. Thank you.
Hello. So me and my friend are playing together. He got two network cards in his PC, so we did a wired network bridge, and we are sharing a 100mbit/100mbit connection. Everything is fine, got 5-15 ping on all online games I play, well until he boots up WoW.
When he starts to play, my ping jumps instantly to range 70-150, sometimes even up to 250 (In every game I actually have no lag at all).Lag and lagspikes are very noticable. As fast he minimizes (doesn't even requires that he shuts the game down), my ping is back to 5-15. As fast he alt-tabs back, the lag starts again. No other game causes that. I checked many times with pingtest.net, and couldn't find any other issue, except that WoW is causing this lag.
What might be that issue? Tried really everything, disabling stuff, drivers, av's, firewalls, settings...
Also noticed on stuff like Utorrent. Downloading something in Max speed 9-10 MB/s, when he's wow is minimized, but as fast as he alt-tabs back the speed dropst o like 600 kb/s.
It seems like WoW takes 99 Mbit of the bandwidth, which is of course... weired...
3th day without answer. Come on, or give me at least a solution how I can reduce bandwidth that WoW uses.
