something wrong with your WoW installation perhaps? Try running the repair.exe.
Also try deleting your Cache folder.

Try deleting your cache, and renaming your interface folder to interfaceold and your WTF folder to WTFold.
Then try logging in.
I had similar issues last week, and this worked. I then deleted the interface and WTF folders, and renamed the previous ones back, disabled all my addons and re-enabled them one at a time til I found the one causing the problem.

Binary search works much better than enabling one at a time.

Not everyone knows how to do that, thank you.

Don't let the name throw you - it's a simple concept.
1. Turn all of them off.
2. Turn on half of them. If you still have the problem, the "bad" one is in this group. Otherwise, it's in the other group.
3. Limit your list to the half that contains the bad addon
4. Go to step 1
Eventually* you'll narrow it down to the specific one that is having problems.
* Fairly quickly, actually
Let's say you have 32 addons. The first pass you have two groups of 16. The next pass you have two groups of 8. The third pass you have two groups of 4. The fourth pass you have two groups of 2. And in the fifth pass you identify "The One".
By contrast, turning them on one at a time will, in the worst case, result in 32 passes, average is 16. That's between 11 and 27 extra times logging in/out.

If you cannot get past the realm login screen, it is probably not an addon. Check if you are running a firewall (software or hardware), or software like PeerBlock. Sometimes blizzards login servers get blacklisted on there (and in some of the anti virus web shields), so you may need to view the log and add those blizz servers as an exception.
