Actually, Morec, microbes, bacteria, and such are damn resilient.
One of the things that went to the moon at one point had some styrofoam someone on earth had sneezed on or w/e.
Once in space? They went into stasis, only to come back to life the second they found oxygen again.
Saw it on the Discovery Channel forever ago. *shrug*
Exactly: even if they were there, they went dormant and would not have decayed Morec. By the time they got oxygen again Morec was already awake and able to kill them off and slow his own decaying process through necromantic magic again.
Other than that, chalk it up to
Artistic liscence
.

Being in stasis = being inactive though, so providing there is no oxygen on the ship Morec's decay would be halted until he comes into contact with oxygen again.
And can't undead still persist even after their flesh, or sometimes even bones, have rotten away?
Dunno. Pretty sure only as a spirit though, and what's the point of that? It's not like you can run a spaceship as a spirit.
Anyway, I feel like I came off a little too harshly before, and I apologize for it. I just get... a little too blunt when I'm frustrated, and this has been frustrating me for a while now.
Can't spirits possess people/manifest in some form if they're powerful enough? I don't know really the difference between the soul/spirit/conscious well though so don't take my word for it.

I feel I should join this.
I'm putting it up to a vote, who I should bring in (backstory adjusted for era, of course).
That's not to say I won't make a new character, but I think it'd be fun to adapt an existing one.

And Neon: don't worry about it. Had you not said something things might have spiraled out of control one way or another, now I'm going to be a little more careful about making sure they don't. Everyone needs a splash of cold water to their face sometimes (sadly I've been having to take a few too many in the past week, methinks).
And if anyone is trolling around Tvtropes and finds a page that talks about a character that is sometimes overpowered, but the author usually sees no problem with it because he sees the character as something of himself in the story, can you post a link for me. I can't find it and I wanted to read it again.

Aaaah but I live in washington. It's okay for me to imbibe alchohol provided by a guardian.
It's a national drinking law, Light. -_-

No idea who Malice, Ivan or Nakresh are, wouldn't know who to choose out of Gurka/Kitanga or Dag'rema either - how about both?

Found that
, but I'm not sure if that's it. It mentions Author Avatar being usually used to deliver filibuster and having
author powers
. What I'm talking about is a character the writer feels shares some of her personality and other traits. (course, that makes Morec more of a pet character and less of what I've describing (somewhat))
And I say Malice (though I've forgotten most about her).

The former is an insane (or perhaps supersane) warlock who was a normal, middle aged woman before she bonded with a demonic parasite. The latter is a sadistic slave trader with a knack for creepiness.
Nakresh is an orc warrior I have who I haven't played in a while (his biggest role was in our Open War RP).

So I read the first.page. Can someone give me a summary of what's happened, at least so I know where to jump in.

So, Morec, what you need to do is take a step back and think on what's actually within Morec's reach and who he is.
Right now what's within his reach is having doors open (hopefully) and making allies with the Cabal. At least, that's what's logical to me.
So I read the first.page. Can someone give me a summary of what's happened, at least so I know where to jump in.
Some theives woke up Morec, he blew up some buildings, stole a Senate warship, sent some hate mail to the senate and templar, and now there is a templar blockade around Xoroth.
