Penned by the hand of Thragg Earthbreaker, Shaman of the Horde...
Like I remember the day news reached Draenor of the Blackhand's Horde's successful storming the walls of Stormwind, I remember the first signs of the Cataclysm. The elements became restless, they became
defiant.
Where once we lived with understanding and cooperation between the two of us, there became hatred and rebellion, where once we lived together in peace now we sought domination over each other. We did not understand what was happening, but maybe if we had tried harder to we might have. Or was that understanding beyond our reach?...
Like I remember when the day when Ner'zhul's Horde first made an agreement with the cursed dragon Deathwing, I remember when he returned. The defiance of the elements had been but a vague herald of the horror that ripped the world
asunder.
I will admit; I thought the beast dead. I heard tales of how the fury of the other four Dragon Aspects had been unleashed upon him and, even when taking into account that the story may have been exaggerated, I could not see how even the fifth of the great behemoths could survive such an attack. How could it withstand the pain?...
Like I remember the day I gave my service to a demon in exchange for control of the elements once more, I remember the day they first came for me. A Dark Shaman, a member of the Twilight's Hammer Clan, came promising powers that no mortal should
ever
posses. He took the life of my apprentice, and, even with my power drained by the betrayal of many of the elements, I barely managed to fight him and his minions back. But, why did I live when my apprentice was taken from this world?...
The world will never be the same again; I can feel it within my old bones. Chaos and death that many thought only the
Legion
could bring has been unleashed from the deeps and flames of the earth, depths of the sea, and the heights of the sky. Heroes old and new arise, but villains also move to claim their place in the world. I have had a vision of the future, but I dare not speak of it, less those with evil in their hearts find it and seek to make it a reality, especially now that I know I have what may be the key to bringing it about. Could what I witnessed ever come to be, though?...
Chaos
has come anew
. Madness
may rise to join it
. Deathwing
has returned. May the gods of Azeroth and beyond have mercy on our souls....
The remaining pages have either been removed or are so stained with blood they will never be legible again.
An RP based in the world of Azeroth after the Cataclysm and Deathwing's return threatened to tear it apart. Welcome to the
World of Warcraft
...
Q&A for the RP.

Character:
Thragg Earthbreaker
Location: Northern Barrens
Race: Orc
Class: Shaman
Description:
Thragg was young when the first was was going on, but his memory of the events and those that followed the Horde's coming to Azeroth are clear. In his arrogance, he made a deal with a demon to regain control over the elements after refusing to speak with them. Years afterwards, he was able to redeem himself in their eyes, and shortly after returning to the Horde took an apprentice, the tauren Tauman Grimtotem.
Now, though, he is hunted by those that want him dead both for what they belive he knows and what they know he carries with him. There is no rest for this shaman, no peace, not untill either he or the Dark Shaman who seeks this knowledge is dead.
Thragg ran through the jungle that the Northern Barrens had become. They were behind him, he could hear their movement. They were fast, but the spirits of the earth and wind that still aided the call of the shamans helped him, forcing his pursuers back.
Still, he was old, weakening, and soon would fall prey to those following him.
Great Ancestors
, he silently prayed,
help me, I beg of you
.

Character
:
Alexander
"Duskhide"
Bowie
Race
: Gilnean Worgen
Class
: Druid
Description
: Where Alexander - who hates when someone shortens his first name - lacks in talent, he compensates with fervor and ambition, making him a significantly powerful druid. His only allegiance is that to Gilneas, and his enemies are anyone threatening his motherland. He is not above teaming up with the Horde, however, if it justifies the end, and given the uprise of the cultists - that pose an indirect danger to Gilneas, sometimes much more than that of the Horde - Alexander is more than willing to side with orcs, trolls, goblins, tauren or blood elves - but not Forsaken, whom he sees as an untold abomination - if that means deaths of the Hammer's servants.
Location
: Northern Barrens
The druid sniffed the air. His ears twinkled at the deafening - for a sharp worgen ear, of course - sounds of pursuit.
'
Interesting...
'
On all fours with his staff attached to his back Alexander prowled to try and see, who was fleeing from whom and what did it mean for him.

Character:
Thragg Earthbreaker
Location: Northern Barrens
Thragg tripped over a root that was growing in the middle of the path, falling to the ground. The satchel he carried went flying from his hands, sliding across the ground away from him. "No!" he said, starting to stand. However his pursuers were faster.
Raptors emerged from the jungle, surrounding him.
Character:
Morec, House of Rivendare
Location: Eastern Plaguelands
Race: Forsaken
Class: Death Knight
Backstory:
Morec, House of Rivendare, is a death knight affiliated with the Forsaken and himself – more so himself. With the death of his cousin, Morec has been able to amass a large fortune, although he has recently run into some trouble with a potion of said fortune due to the appearance of one Aurius Rivendare. He now wants Aurius dead by any means necessary so that he can amass the fortune for himself… unfortunately; he is too lazy/insane to do so for himself. He also hears voices, and regularly converses with them.
“Helloooooo?” Morec called out. “Anyone around?” There was no reply. “Huh, I guess no one’s made characters over here, yet.”
"Given that you’re over here, they never may."
"Not to mention there is no real plot, like there is for Thragg, or even the worgen."
“Hey! They havn’t been posted with yet! Leave them out of this!”
Whatever.
Character:
Vrem Dartskul
Location: Ashenvale
Race: Forsaken
Class: Hunter
Backstory:
Vrem is a hunter of the Forsaken, and an extremely loyal servant to Sylvanas Windrunner, the Banshee Queen. He carries out the Dark Lady’s wishes to the letter, letting nothing stand in his way. With the recent Horde crackdown on the Forsaken, however, he has distanced himself from the only people he could ever associate with, knowing that it is the easiest way to carry out the Dark Lady’s will without forcing any more blame upon her. He has recently taken a love to hunting and poaching, especially when it comes to the humanoid races of Azeroth – the worgen-hide cloak he wears is testament to that.
He’d been tracking two living for days now; somehow they’d always been able to stay one step ahead of him, even without reverting to their worgen forms.
Oh, yes, he knew they were worgen, even though he had only seen them in their human forms he could smell it. He’d dealt with worgen when the Forsaken had first invaded Gilneas, that was where he had gotten his new cloak, and so was very, very familiar with the traits they displayed, even when in human form. On his shoulder, Rottalon squawked and at his feet Marrow growled. Vrem motioned for them both to be silent, and they complied. The hunter then took off through the forest again.
Character:
Ivan "Bloodhowl" Jeret
,
Krista "Blackbite" Jeret
Location: Ashenvale
Races: Gilnean Worgen
Classes: Warrior, Mage
Backstory:
The Jeret’s are a noble Gilnean family, but Ivan and Krista no longer have the privileges that their birthright should bestow upon them. Both infected by the worgen curse early in the beast’s invasion of their home country, fortunately they were also cured of it. However, their return to humanity came with a price: new personalities were formed within their mind – Bloodhowl within Ivan’s and Blackbite within Krista’s – that represent their worgen sides.
When the Forsaken invaded their nation, Bloodhowl attempted to use the undead as a distraction to let his true, homicidal nature shine through. He was caught in the end, however, and Ivan was banished from Gilneas for his crime. In an effort to show the Gilnean courts what a mistake their decision had been, Krista put herself into exile alongside her brother. They attempt to remain away for civilization as often as possible, less more die by the hands of their darker halves.
“Is he still behind us?” Krista asked, still running through the dense forest. “I can’t see him.”
“Neither can I,” Ivan replied, “but we can’t risk it. We need to keep moving, after a while longer we’ll check to see if he’s stopped following.” Krista nodded as the two disinherited nobles kept running for their lives.
The undead had been following them for several days now, every time they thought that they had escaped, he just reappeared, getting closer and closer to slaying them each time. Neither wanted to risk fighting him, though, since doing so might let their worgen halves loose, and they feared that, if they did break free, they would not be able to regain control.

'
Loot, eh?
' - thought Alexander as a satchel slided right up to him. From what he could see a Horde shaman was being pursued by... Wait a second, raptors?
'
Either that shaman is a stupid one to tresspass on raptor territory, or someone is controlling them. Hm-m-m...
'
Still covered by the wild florae, the druid unsheathed his staff and drove its shaft into the ground. Several thick roots emerged from it, dividing the orc from the raptors.
'
Now we have to wait and see.

Character:
Thragg Earthbreaker
Location: Northern Barrens
Thragg stood, looking at the beasts around him. "I mean you no harm," he said, silently asking that the spirit of the wilds translate for him. "I merely mean to continue on my way."
The second largest of the raptors pounced at him, but Thragg knocked it away with a blast of flame magic. He then fell to one knee, exhaugsted. The other raptors began to close in on him.
Character:
Morec, House of Rivendare
Location: Eastern Plaguelands
Morec looked up, seemingly reading. "Hmm, interesting...," he looked around trying to find out when this 'Star-Wrath' was hiding. "I know you are there, so you can come out. Don't worry, I mean you endless harm and agony."
"It's 'I mean you no harm.'"
"Yeah, but then I'd be lying."
((Change of location with Vrem and the Jeret's.))
Character:
Ivan "Bloodhowl" Jeret
,
Krista "Blackbite" Jeret
Location: Wetlands
Ivan and Krista slowed to a stop, looking around them. "I... I think he's gone," Krista said.
"Maybe," her brother replied, then nodded. "Yeah, I... I think we can finally rest now."
With a sigh of relief Krista lowered herself to the ground to ease her aching legs.
Character:
Vrem Dartskul
Location: Wetlands
But Vrem was not gone, he had simpy changed the direction at which he pursued the two. He quietly moved through the dense wetlands foliage towards where they were, Marrow and Rottalon ready to strike on his command.
But not yet, he'd let them get comfortable. Let their deffenses lower, then there would be no escape for them. The rotten hunter grinned.

"He means you no harm."
The druid paced through the wildlife calmly, heading to the orc shaman. He raised his hand and several dozens of particularly sharp seeds jumped through the air into the raptors, beginning to grow with extreme speed upon burying in the beasts' flesh.
"I do."

Thragg Earthbreaker

Thragg stuggled back to his feet once more as the other raptors fled. The aging shaman nodded greatfully to the worgen that had assisted him. "My thanks, druid," he said, hurrying over to reclaim the satchel he'd dropped. "But you must flee, those were not the only ones following me."
With that said, several figures of various races stepped out of the jungle, weapons and spells already held ready to strike. The aging orc scowled. "Twilight's Hammer Cultists."
"Give us the tablet," an undead and apparent leader of the group said, "and we'll make sure you die slowly."
Thragg held his ground, reaching for his axe. "You will have to pry it from my cold, dead hands."
The undead laughed. "Kill him! And the druid as well!"
Character:
Morec, House of Rivendare
Location: Eastern Plaguelands
Morec turned to face the worgen. "Look, I don't know who sent you, but let me live and I'll make it worth your while."
"No you wont."
"Shut up! I'm trying to spare a life here!"
"No you're not."
"You're just trying to get him to turn his back to you so you can kill him with a coward's blow."
"So what if I am!" the death knight said, then looked back at Star-wrath. "You know what? Forget it. DIE!" He threw a coil of death at the worgen before moving back to gain some distance from him and pulling Armageddon out of its sheath.

"I shall take your position into consideration."
The druid raised his staff above him and drove it forcefully into the ground. Several thick thorn-covered roots emerged from the ground and began lashing at the cultists. Alexander then pointed at the leader, which caused a ray of sunshine to fall on his forehead, quickly becoming more and more concentrated.
"It seems that your terms are inacceptible."

The undead cultist roared, focusing dark magic. Clouds formed, blocking out the sun, and flames spewed up from the earth to consume the vines. "You'll regret that move, druid," he said, casting another spell that caused the wind to began to circle around him, slowly forming a tornado.
Thragg attempted to stay out of the fight, needing to find the strength required to fight back before he would be able to do anything to assist the druid.

"Oh really?"
Thunder roared across the sky, and lightning bolts originated in the very clouds the leader had created began striking at the cultists. Water poured from the sky, extinguishing the flames. More vines erupted from the ground, now they were forming a circle around the head cultist.

"You think this will stop the Twilight's Hammer clan?" the undead cultist laughed. "Fool! You're pathetic magics will fail against our full strength! This world has been torn apart by chaos, and now it will be remade! You have no hope of even-."
An axe emedded itself in the cultist's chest, and elemental fire cause and explosion that tore the undead apart. With most of their allies and now leader dead, the remaining few Twilight Cultists fled back into the jungle.
"Thank you for your assistance, noble druid," Thragg said, walking over to the remains of the cultist and retriving his axe.

"Don't mention it." - replied Alexander, kneeling at the bodies. He stroke his hand over the charred earth, causing numerous roots to sprout and cover them. The clouds were still hanging above them, generously soaking the ground. The druid stood up and turned to the orc - "I have some questions for you, but first things first - I am Alexander Bowie of Gilneas, also known as Duskhide."
